With the development of society and the basic education reform, put forward new requirements on Chemical Education in rural purpose,object, content and method. "Task driven" teaching mode to adapt to the requirements of quality education, is a new mode of education in the new period, to make up for the disadvantages of the traditional mode of education, is a new force to break through the traditional teaching idea. Task driven teaching method in teaching, take the teacher as the leadership, take the student as the main body, to the task of learning as the main line, in accordance with the characteristics ofteachers’ mind and learning ability of teaching requirements and student’s elaborate designteaching tasks, explore and Research on the task of students through, to discover knowledge,knowledge, use the knowledge, and then constructing cognitive structure and the new ways of learning, students explore the spirit, creative thinking and creative ability. However, in the process of the implementation of the task driving teaching mode also has many problems, this paper analyzes the basic characteristics of task driven teaching mode, and makes further analysis and research, discusses the main theoretical basis of teaching mode of task driving teaching mode ofpsychology foundation and driving task, analysis and the present situation of rural senior high school chemistry classroom teaching, finally draw the conclusion that in the current research onclassroom practice, carry out the superiorities and significance of Task-based Teaching in ruralhigh school chemistry classroom of rural senior middle school chemistry teaching mode of task driving. After a great deal of research shows that the implementation of the "task driven" teaching method can improve students’ awareness of autonomous learning in high school chemistry classroom teaching, to stimulate students interest in learning, improve student experiment operation level and practical ability, to enhance students’ awareness of innovation and improve the students’ grades in chemistry.
