| As society continues to progress, the requirements for citizens’ information literacy are gett ing higher and higher.Computational thinking,as a pillar of scientific thinking,is known as a n essential basic skill for citizens in the 21st century and has received the attention of many s cholars at home and abroad.Reading the literature,it can be found that there is not yet a we alth of effective experience summaries and instructional strategies in project-based instructional design research using computational thinking development as an entry point. Therefore, this stu dy takes Scratch teaching as an example and designs a project-based teaching model for the d evelopment of computational thinking of first-year students under the guidance of theories relat ed to computational thinking and project-based teaching, and applies it to the actual teaching t o investigate its teaching effects. In this study, the main research methods are literature research method, questionnaire surv ey method, interview method and quasi-experimental research method.Firstly, the current resear ch status of computational thinking and project-based teaching at home and abroad is sorted ou t and analyzed through the literature research method, and the core concepts and theoretical ba sis of this paper are determined. On this basis, the project-based teaching design for the cultiv ation of computational thinking is carried out, including the basis for the integration of projectbased teaching and computational thinking, and the specific process design of project-based tea ching; After that, according to the designed teaching process combined with the preliminary pr eparation, taking Scratch teaching as an example, the first-year students were selected as the re search object, and the quasi-experimental research method was used to carry out the teaching p ractice; Finally, the results of questionnaire surveys, student works and interviews were used to analyze the effect of students’ computational thinking training and conclude the conclusion.Based on the results of the study,it can be seen that project-based teaching has a certain promotion effect on the development of computational thinking of first-year students, which is reflected in the improvement of students’ abilities in a total of five dimensions:creativity, alg orithmic thinking, cooperation and communication, critical thinking, and problem solving.Stude nts can better master computational thinking by participating in the project as a whole, and it is hoped that this study can provide some help to cultivate students’ computational thinking in the future. |
