| Online teaching is a teaching activity that teachers and other subjects rely on the modern information technology of the Internet,with the help of its open teaching resources,through flexible and individual teaching process and intelligent teaching evaluation.This teaching activity aims at improving teaching quality.At present,China is vigorously promoting the construction of education informatization,As well as the need for continued positive development of continuing education under the COVID-19,online teaching has become a new focus of teaching reform for Higher Continuing Education for Academic Diplomas.First,the research selects Constructivist Teaching Theory,Distributed Cognition Theory,and Connectivist Learning Theory as the theoretical basis and focuses on four dimensions of teachers’ teaching ability,teaching resources,teaching process and teaching quality evaluation involving formal teaching activities in the online teaching of higher education continuing education according to the "Service Specifications for Distance Education".Secondly,in order to present the current online teaching practice of higher education continuing education in ordinary universities,the paper extracts three typical universities,S University,Z University and Y University,in order to provide realistic basis for the analysis of characteristics,problems and countermeasures in the following.Thirdly,the article analyzes the online teaching characteristics of higher education continuing education from the four dimensions of teachers’ teaching ability,teaching resources,teaching process and teaching quality evaluation.The features are mainly manifested in flexible teaching ability of teachers,open teaching resources,personalized teaching process,intelligent and precise teaching quality evaluation,and those characteristics could help present the value-added of online teaching to higher education continuing education.In addition,after the above practice and feature analysis,this research also explores the current problems existing in online teaching of continuing education for higher education in relevant colleges and universities from the four dimensions of teachers’ teaching ability,teaching resources,teaching process and teaching quality evaluation.Insufficient teaching ability of teachers,unbalanced supply of teaching service personnel,unreasonable supply of teaching resources,unsound teaching process and low accuracy of teaching quality evaluation are five main problems existing right now.Finally,this research puts forward the optimization countermeasures for the online teaching of higher education continuing education.We should expand the online teaching ability of teachers,balance the supply of teaching personnel,reorganize and improve teaching resources,improve the teaching service process to boost the continuing education online teaching’s sustainable development. |
