As an important form of teaching of secondary vocational education,practical training teaching is an important symbol that determines the training and level of secondary vocational education talents.Classroom observation is one of the important ways to promote the development of teachers’ professional ability and the effective learning of students,and due to the lack of relevant research on the classroom observation indicators of secondary vocational training teaching,the classroom observation of secondary vocational practical training teaching has no guidance of specific observation tools and methods,and does not play its role well.In line with the purpose of promoting the improvement of the quality of practical training teaching with classroom observation,on the basis of systematic reflection on what is the ideal practical training teaching classroom,we will think deeply and then develop a classroom observation index system that points to the practical training teaching of secondary vocational education,and apply it in practice.This study comprehensively uses a variety of methods such as literature research,theoretical research,investigation research and case study,and takes the LECC classroom observation theory as the framework to compile a questionnaire for the observation of the classroom of secondary vocational practical training,to understand the current front-line teachers’ understanding and views on the observation indicators,and to interpret the ideal practical training teaching classroom in a multi-faceted manner,laying theoretical support for the development of the indicators.Starting from the ideas and principles of indicator development,based on the fit between the LICC classroom observation paradigm and the classroom observation indicators,it not only pays attention to the universality of the development of the indicators,but also highlights the characteristics and professionalism of vocational education practical training,determines the dimensions,perspectives and indicators in turn,and revises them based on expert advice,and finally presents the observation scale and determines the weight.Through the implementation and application,it shows that the indicator system has good reliability and validity,indicating that the index system is feasible.The classroom observation index system of secondary vocational practical training teaching developed by this institute includes 4 observation dimensions,11 observation perspectives and 32 observation indicators,which can comprehensively cover all aspects of secondary vocational practical training teaching.The implementation and application of classroom observation indicators for secondary vocational practical training teaching is conducive to promoting the professional development of teachers and student learning,and at the same time can provide a certain reference for the research of classroom observation of secondary vocational practical training teaching.
