A Case Work Intervention Study On The Life Care Of The Elderly Living Alone

With the deepening of aging,especially with the development and changes of China’s economic and social life and the transformation of people’s ideas,the number of elderly living alone is also increasing day by day,the problems of life care are becoming more and more prominent,and their needs for life care are increasing.Therefore,how to carry out effective care services for the elderly living alone is an important problem to solve the problem of the elderly living alone.Social work,as a profession of helping others and helping themselves,provides an available and well-trained professional resource for the life care services of the elderly living alone.The research on the intervention of social work in the life care of the elderly living alone plays an important role in improving the quality of life of the elderly and promoting social harmony.This paper takes the elderly living alone in JL District of Yichun City as the research object,and uses the case social work method,one of the three methods of social work,to intervene in the life care of the elderly living alone in JL district.It mainly uses the methods of questionnaire and interview,and carries out the research with the theoretical support of social support theory and advantage perspective theory.Based on the understanding of the current situation and basic needs of the living care of the elderly living alone in JL District,taking a specific case work service process as an example,through the help strategies of resource link,spiritual comfort and reconstruction of social support network,we can help the case owner solve the problem of living care and restore normal life.The research shows that the needs of the living care of the elderly living alone are multi-level and multi-dimensional.The intervention of case work in the living care of the elderly living alone can pertinently meet the needs of the living care of the elderly living alone to a certain extent.The necessary social support is the key to prevent the living problems of the elderly living alone.In the process of case work intervention,social workers should pay attention to the spiritual comfort of the elderly living alone.
