Mental disorders are a broad category of concepts that are generally considered to include mental retardation,Down syndrome,autism spectrum disorders,cerebral palsy and other factors that lead to mental and developmental disorders.Restricted by the domestic social environment and the development of social services,most of them still face many obstacles in rehabilitation,education,community integration,independent life and employment,and can not effectively realize their rights and participate in social life on an equal footing.This article is based on the social work services provided by the Z Social Work Organization in Zhengzhou,China,through participation observation and interview,it is found that children with mild mental retardation have insufficient abilities in social integration,such as interpersonal communication,self-care and learning,etc.,facing the problems of psychology,behavior,cognition,interpersonal communication and so on.Based on the theory of return to society,Ecosystem Theory and energy enhancement theory,the study used a group work method to improve the self-care ability and People skills ability of10 children with mild mental retardation.At the end of the activity,the effect of intervention was evaluated by process evaluation and result evaluation,and it was proved that the group work had a significant effect on improving the social integration of the children with mild mental retardationFinally,it summarizes the advantages of ideas and skills in the intervention of group work in children with mild mental disorders,but there are also limitations in implementation.It makes research and reflection from three aspects: the confirmation of social integration indicators,the difference between group environment and real life,and the cross influence of group effectiveness by other activities,and puts forward the integration of resources,multi department joint services,the establishment of an open and inclusive social environment Suggestions on improving the teaching level of service institutions for children with mental disabilities.
