Geographical practice is an important teaching content for cultivating students’ geographic core literacy.The ‘High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)’ pointed out that front-line geography teaching should further strengthen students’ geographical practice ability by actively carrying out geographical practice activities.In recent years,project-based teaching,as a new and effective teaching mode,has been applied to a variety of basic education disciplines,and has attracted the attention of experts and scholars.Therefore,based on previous research results,this paper investigates the current situation of the teaching of geographical practice activities in senior high schools,proposes improvement strategies for existing problems,and constructs a general model of geography practice based on project-based teaching.Using the general mode,combined with the specific teaching content design teaching cases.This paper mainly includes the following four parts:The first part is the introduction.Combined with the characteristics of the times and the current situation of education,the research background is expounded and the relevant theoretical and practical significance is discussed.Literature research method was adopted to refer to the relevant literature of the research topic,and the existing research results of geographical practice and project-based teaching were summarized.It was found that there were relatively few studies on the application of project-based teaching in geographical practice,there were limited teaching cases for reference and the evaluation system needed to be improved.The second part is an overview of the research topic.This paper introduces the concepts related to the research topic and explore the theoretical basis of the research.Analyzes the characteristics of project-based geographic practice activity teaching,classifies geographic practice activities according to different classification standards,and demonstrates the rationality of project-based teaching in geographic practice activities.The third part is the investigation of teaching status.Using the method of questionnaire survey and interview,the existing problems of geography practice teaching are found,and some corresponding teaching suggestions are put forward.The fourth part is schema construction.This paper specifically analyzes the various components of the project-based geographic practice activity teaching,and builds a general model of project-based geographic practice activity teaching design based on the principles of scientific teaching design.The case analysis method is used in combination with the content of the textbooks to design two types of project-based geography practice teaching case,and finally summarize and reflect on the conclusions of this research.With the help of project-based teaching mode,this paper promotes the teaching design and implementation of high school geography practice activities.By building the general model of project geography practice teaching design,and combined with the specific teaching contents design case,to improve the current geography practice teaching,further develop students’ geography practice ability,cultivate students’ geography core literacy,improve teachers’ practical teaching level,and realize the education value of geography.
