In January 2020,the "Strong Foundation Plan" issued by the Ministry of Education is an important step for the country to promote the reform of the college entrance examination system and an important measure for the country to respond to urgently needed talents in major strategic fields.The "Strong Foundation Plan" emphasizes cultivating talents for research and exploration of basic disciplines,which requires high school students to clarify their subject interests and professional development,thus highlighting the importance of career education in senior high school.Through the influence of career education,high school students can understand their own special interests,so that they can make the most suitable decisions for their career development in the future when choosing high-level majors and social careers.Subject teaching is the basic method of basic education and an important carrier and position of career education.High school students have heavy coursework,and the integration of career education into subject teaching will not take up students’ precious study time,but also allow students to understand the types of occupations related to the subject,and complete the edification of students’ careers.The biology major is one of the key enrollment majors in the "Strong Foundation Plan".This research focuses on the close integration of high school biology teaching and career education,so that students can experience the value of learning biology in biology learning,so as to cultivate students’ interest and love for biology,so as to formulate career planning goals towards biological professional development,and take action to achieve your goals.This research takes the introduction and implementation of the "Strong Foundation Plan" as the background.From the role of career education in senior high school in promoting the "Strong Foundation Plan" and the importance of students’ self-planning and self-development,it proposes a research topic on the path of career education in high school biology teaching.This research uses the methods of questionnaire survey and interview,the biology teachers and students of the author’s educational practice school are investigated.It analyzes the development status of career education in biology teaching in high school.The results show that the self-cognition level of high school students is low;awareness of self-planning is weak;professional,occupational and social awareness is also low.Most biology teachers do not pay attention to the penetration of career education in the teaching process due to lack of certain career education teaching experience,insufficient class hours,college entrance examination policy and other reasons.In view of this situation,the author uses the method of literature research to fully excavate the materials related to career education in the high school biology textbooks of the New People’s Education Edition,classify these materials into categories,and summarize the occupation types related to the knowledge of biology.Based on these research materials,this paper proposes several paths for infiltrating career education in high school biology teaching:(1)using the column of "biology-related occupations" to cultivate professional interests;(2)fully excavating the content of textbooks to enrich career interests;(3)using biological sciences historical materials to experience professional spirit;(4)introducing cutting-edge scientific knowledge and innovating the content of vocational education;(5)setting up biology teaching experiments to cultivate vocational skills.Based on the new teaching version of high school biology textbooks and paths,a lecture on the theme of career planning and three teaching cases were designed.And the effect of teaching implementation was tested by the questionnaire of "High School Biology Career Planning Survey".The test results showed that there was a significant difference in the degree of career planning between the experimental class and the control class(P<0.05).The students in the experimental class have a higher level of self-awareness and self-planning awareness.They have a higher understanding of the "Strong Foundation Program",majors and occupations in the biological field.And they are also more interested in the biological field.Therefore,it is feasible to use subject teaching as an important carrier and position of career education,which also shows that this research has certain practical significance.The final analysis draws the conclusion of this study: the path of infiltrating career education in high school biology teaching is feasible and valuable.Based on the results of this study,the following suggestions are put forward for the penetration of career education in the process of high school biology teaching:(1)In the compilation of textbooks,pay attention to the development of career education content,so that all industries are involved;(2)In terms of teacher quality,strengthen teacher training and collective teaching and research,dig the content of textbooks into depth,and carefully design the classroom teaching;(3)In terms of educational synergy,schools,parents and society form an educational synergy to jointly promote career education.
