| Baling opera is a representative local opera in Yueyang,Hunan Province,and has a profound influence on the people of Yueyang,permeating the local culture and spirit of Yueyang,and reflecting the regional customs of Yueyang.It has been developed for nearly400 years,and because of its profound cultural heritage and rich historical and cultural values,in 2006,the state officially included Baling Opera in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection projects.By combining Baling opera with school education,not only can we pass on our excellent heritage culture and promote it,but also it is an important initiative to implement aesthetic education.As a traditional opera local to Yueyang,Baling Opera is more likely to summon the desire and initiative of students in Yueyang,and can create a sense of pride from within when they study.And Baling opera is rich in excellent traditional culture,which is good for students to build good personality and ideological character.In the process of learning and understanding Baling opera,students gradually penetrate the knowledge of traditional opera,which will enhance their aesthetic consciousness and cultivate good comprehensive ability,thus promoting the overall development of moral,intellectual,physical,and aesthetic development.This paper takes "opera in school" as the theoretical research background,and takes the teaching of Baling opera in Yueyanglou Primary School in Yueyang City as a typical case,and conducts field research on "Baling opera in elementary school music classroom".We conducted an in-depth analysis of the development status,teaching status,students’ evaluation,teachers’ and parents’ attitudes of "Baling Opera in Primary School Music Classroom" from the perspectives of students,teachers and parents.The introduction of Baling opera into elementary school music classrooms is explored and analyzed in terms of its educational significance for the transmission of Baling opera culture and the impact it has on students.It also summarizes the problems and the opinions and suggestions that need to be dealt with in various aspects.The results of the research show that the teaching of Baling opera in Yueyanglou Primary School has reaped many results for promoting opera culture,but there are also many problems exist,such as(1)the problem of basic guarantee of Baling opera in school;(2)the lack of teachers’ knowledge reserve of opera professionalism;(3)the teaching system of Baling opera is not perfect,etc.For the existing problems the author tries to propose countermeasures in the paper:(1)improve the teaching system of Baling opera classroom;(2)strengthen the training of in-service music teachers;(3)expand the content of Baling opera classroom teaching;(4)strengthen the concept of Baling opera teaching evaluation;(5)develop school-based curriculum based on the existing foundation of Baling opera classroom. |
