A Case Intervention Study On The Role Dilemma Of Long-term Caregivers In Disabled Elderly Families

At present,China has entered the population aging society,and the number of elderly and disabled elderly is increasing,which means that in the process of home-based elderly care,the quality requirements of the elderly population for long-term care are improving.At present,family pension is still the most basic pension model in China,and under the influence of the traditional gender concept,the heavy responsibility of family care mainly falls on women.At the same time,affected by the social transformation,on the one hand,the family is miniaturized and core,which makes the manpower of taking care of the elderly insufficient and the pressure of taking care of the elderly heavy;on the other hand,caregivers are affected by their role transformation,role tension and role conflict,and the pressure on physical and mental health is increasing,which will inevitably make us pay more attention to the group of long-term caregivers.This paper selects a long-term caregiver of a disabled elderly family in Binzhou City,Shandong Province as the research object,collects data through participation observation and interview,takes the family ecosystem theory as the theoretical support,adopts the method of case work,takes role tension,role conflict and role burden as the main starting point,and intervenes from three aspects: facing the dilemma,seeking a way out and welcoming the future Starting with the two support groups of friends,we can understand the needs of the case owner,help the case owner alleviate his own bad emotions,poor care ability,heavy care tasks,narrow communication circle,tense family relations and other problems,so as to alleviate the plight of the case owner.In the later stage,we can help the case owner form a systematic and correct cognition,regain a good family atmosphere,make friends actively and return to society through role-playing and tapping the advantages and potential of the case owner.Through the perspective of family caregivers themselves from the two aspects of needs and difficulties,this study analyzes the difficulties and causes caused by the role of family long-term caregivers,rethinks the stress and emotion of female family long-term caregivers,and finally returns to society,trying to give family caregivers support and help from three aspects: popularizing nursing knowledge,improving the bottom-up employment system and providing respite services,so as to better enjoy life.At the same time,strengthen the results of role-playing,consolidate and pay attention to the family ecosystem to meet various environmental challenges.
