With the advancement and deepening of China’s education reform,the new curriculum reform concept has gradually taken root,putting forward higher quality requirements for the high school ideology and politics curriculum,striving to improve students’ core literacy in political science and implementing the goal of cultivating people with moral character.As an important teaching resource for high school ideology and politics,current affairs resources cover a wide range of topics,reflecting a series of influential social hotpots or current affairs information occurring in the domestic and international society within a certain period of time,which is in line with the trend of education development and the requirements of the new high school curriculum reform.The Socialism with Chinese Characteristics curriculum undertakes the main task of moral education for high school students,which is not only conducive to integrating classroom teaching,reflecting the spirit of the times and tapping the value of the curriculum,but also conducive to improving teachers’ political literacy,enriching students’ political knowledge,broadening students’ political and political horizons,promoting the improvement of students’ political literacy and moral cultivation,and ultimately realizing the nurturing goals of ideology and politics classes.The paper addresses the topic of research on the use of current affairs resources in the teaching of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in high school.It is mainly divided into three parts:The first part is an overview of the use of current affairs resources in the teaching of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in high school.On the basis of reviewing a large amount of relevant literature and combining the actual teaching research of front-line teachers,the concept,types and characteristics of current affairs resources are elaborated.Then,according to the characteristics of current affairs resources and the requirements of the new standard of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics,the relationship between current affairs resources and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is clarified,so as to recognize the importance of using current affairs resources in teaching Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in colleges and universities.The second part analyzes the current situation of using current affairs resources in teaching Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.Combining with students’ questionnaires and teachers’ interviews,an empirical study was conducted on the current situation of political resources utilization in the teaching of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics,and it was found that there are still some problems in the utilization of current affairs resources in the teaching of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.The reasons are,on the one hand,teachers’ insufficient research on teaching current affairs resources,students’ weak motivation and poor initiative in learning current affairs resources;on the other hand,the lack of guarantee for schools to carry out current affairs resources,coupled with the complexity of current affairs resources themselves,make it difficult to use current affairs resources effectively in teaching Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in high school.The third part explores the principles and countermeasures for the effective use of current affairs resources in the teaching of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in high schools.According to the analysis of the problems and reasons in the use of current affairs resources in the teaching of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics,the following countermeasures are proposed mainly from the aspects of educators,educated people,educational concepts,teaching methods and teaching links: firstly,to change the educational concept and deepen the ideological awareness of using current affairs resources;secondly,to accurately select materials and deeply explore the teaching value of current affairs resources;thirdly,to improve the teaching links and integrate current affairs resources Throughout the whole teaching process;Fourth,optimize teaching methods,enrich the teaching methods of using current affairs resources;Fifth,strengthen students’ guidance,enhance students’ initiative in learning current affairs resources;Sixth,improve the protection system,build a scientific and reasonable teaching evaluation mechanism.
