In recent years,there are more and more reports about the problems of secondary vocational students due to their weak emotional management ability.Secondary vocational students are a special group in adolescence,and their emotions are vulnerable to the influence of school,family,society and other aspects.Under the influence of bad emotions,They often do harm to themselves or others.Therefore,it is very necessary to improve the emotional management ability of secondary vocational students.Using the methods of questionnaire and interview,this thesis investigates the emotion management ability of secondary vocational students in J school in Nanjing.The survey results show that there are the following problems in the emotional management ability of secondary vocational students in J vocational school: Secondary Vocational Students’ insufficient ability to recognize and identify others’ emotions,weak emotional expression ability,poor emotional control ability and single emotional adjustment method.In view of the above problems,the author recruited 8 team members to form the "emotion management ability improvement team".The intervention goal of the team work is to help the team members learn the relevant knowledge of rational emotion therapy theory,learn to find their own unreasonable belief system,establish the skills of reasonable belief system,and improve the emotion management ability and communication ability of the team members,Get emotional support.After participating in group activities,group members can use rational emotional therapy to explore their own unreasonable belief system,improve their emotional management ability,identify others’ emotions and control their own emotions.According to the survey results and intervention,this thesis puts forward the countermeasures to improve the emotional management ability: promoting the development of Vocational Education in multiple fields,promoting the emotional management education in vocational schools through multiple channels,promoting the harmonious parent-child relationship in multiple ways,and promoting the social workers to intervene in the cultivation of emotional management ability from multiple angles.
