Human emotions exist all the time, and the ability to manage emotions is very important to the quality of life of individuals. The repeated illness and boring hospitalization life of children with nephrotic syndrome will affect their emotional changes.the emergence of bad emotions will lead to the decline of children's compliance with treatment, difficult to integrate into the interpersonal network,parent-child conflicts and other problems.therefore, children in the childhood stage need to improve their self-management ability and deal with bad emotions with a positive attitude, which is conducive to the rehabilitation of individual diseases and self-growth.Based on this, this paper takes children with nephrotic syndrome as the research object, goes deep into the department to carry out field research, and through observation and repeated interviews with children, caregivers and medical staff,to understand the factors that affect the mood of children with nephrotic syndrome and the need for emotional management.Using the method of group work, under the guidance of emotional intelligence theory and group motivation theory, eight group activities were designed from four stages: emotional identification and cognition, emotional understanding and expression, emotional regulation and summarization.the control group and the experimental group were used to test the effectiveness of group work in improving the emotional management ability of children with nephrotic syndrome. After the group activities were carried out,the author evaluated the relevant results and found that the group members now have a basic understanding of emotion and emotion management, the awareness of identifying the emotions of themselves and others has been established, and they have mastered a variety of strategies to regulate their own emotions.the ability of emotion management has been improved, which is characterized by the establishment and relaxation of the relationship among team members, medical staff, parents and children, the children's life in hospital is gradually enriched, and the compliance in treatment is also improved. As a result, the author draws the following conclusions: for example, through humanistic care, emotional support, targeted services, etc.,social work can help children reduce negative emotions and improve their own emotional management ability;through phased group activities, under the role of group motivation to promote the improvement of team members' emotional management ability, the effective use of group work methods and so on.In the limited part of the study, there are deficiencies in the scheme design and the number of samples, such as the long-term service is not guaranteed, the number of experimental samples is too small, and the professional level of social workers is insufficient. In order to better serve children with nephrotic syndrome, the author suggests that colleges and universities, institutions and hospitals should strengthen the training of professional social workers and reserve talents in professional fields;secondly, establish a network platform that belongs to the three, strengthen the interaction between doctors and patients, and promote the development of the three parties.
