Research On Cultural Security Education Of Colleges And Universities In The New Era

Cultural security education is not only an important part of national security education,but also a key element of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Strengthening cultural security education in colleges and universities is a decisive mission for national security and the future of a country.Colleges and universities should carry out cultural security education in line with the needs of the times,so that college students can establish a correct concept of cultural security and shoulder the responsibility of safeguarding national cultural security.The socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.The world is undergoing unprecedented changes,and China’s cultural security is facing severe challenges with the expansion of western cultural hegemony and pluralistic social thoughts.Colleges and universities play an important role in academic innovation and cultural inheritance,constituting a crucial stage for safeguarding cultural security.Cultural security education in colleges and universities can enhance college students’ cultural awareness and cultural self-confidence,solidify their ideals and beliefs,so they can consciously resist impacts of unhealthy social thoughts,better safeguard national security and national interests,therefore colleges and universities can make a full play in serving the socialist cause.This paper provides a solid theoretical basis for the cultural security education in colleges and universities by sorting out the cultural security thoughts of classic Marxism works and the main leaders of the Communist Party of China.Combined with empirical research and analysis of the current situation of cultural security education in Chinese colleges and universities,it offers a realistic basis for cultural security education.Although the cultural security education in colleges and universities in the new era has been promoted steadily,the awareness and top design of cultural security education in colleges and universities still needs to be improved.Currently,cultural security education in colleges and universities is facing many problems such as the infiltration of western ideology through Internet,the impact on the identity of socialism core values by plural trends of social thoughts,and the lack of cultural security educational resources.To solve the above problems and to effectively promote college cultural security education in the new era,this paper proposes that we should further the ideological construction,improve the top design,optimize the resource allocation,and diversify the approaches of cultural security education in colleges and universities.
