With the deepening of aging in China,the number of empty nests is increasing day by day,and the proportion of female empty nests in the elderly population continues to increase,and the empty nest elderly women have become a major part of the elderly population in China.As a result,the problem of empty nest elderly women should be paid attention to by the society.Taking the empty nest elderly women in J community of Nanchang as the research object,this paper uses the research method of questionnaire and interview to find that they face the lack of special life care,the lack of family care capital,the strong emotional demand and the lack of family emotion capital.There are many problems and dilemmas,such as simple way of life and entertainment,lack of social participation capital,narrow interpersonal communication,insufficient interpersonal communication capital and so on.Based on the theory of social capital,this paper analyzes the causes of the problems,such as the thinning of interpersonal network,the loss of trust resources,the imperfection of social norms and the weakening of mutual benefit ability and so on.On the basis of investigation and analysis,the author,focusing on the social network in social capital,has carried out a group practice exploration to construct the inter-group community mutual aid network,in order to help the empty nest elderly women to perfect the social support network.This paper raises the social capital and puts forward some suggestions on perfecting the community mutual aid network of empty-nest elderly women from four aspects: individual,family,community and society.
