From The Perspective Of Active Aging,social Work Intervenes In Community Mutual Assistance And Elderly Care Services

The problem of aging is a common problem faced by the whole world.With the gradual increase of the elderly population and the relative shortage of pension resources,countries have been exploring new models of pension services.As a supplement to the institutional pension model and the family pension model,the mutual-aid pension model has received widespread attention both at home and abroad.Through literature research,it is found that there are various forms of mutual assistance,including home-based elderly care in which the elderly live together,community mutual assistance in which members of the community take care of each other,and mutual assistance organized by social groups.Mutual assistance for the elderly is relatively common.It can not only solve the problem of insufficient family pension functions and relieve the pressure of community pensions,but also make full use of the advantages of the elderly and help the elderly through voluntary services.This kind of pension model with the nature of voluntary service also combines the elderly’s performance and support,and actively responds to the initiative of "active aging".From the perspective of active aging,this paper conducts a field study on the case of the "Sunny Days Outside the Window" service project for the elderly in Q Street,Guangzhou.First of all,by sorting out the current community mutual aid voluntary service for the aged,it is found that the community mutual aid voluntary service has insufficient attention to the physical and mental health of the elderly,limited understanding and participation in the community mutual aid voluntary service,and a guarantee system for the elderly to participate in the mutual aid voluntary service for the aged.Insufficient soundness and so on.Through on-site participation in volunteer mutual aid service project activities,we can understand the specific development process and service content of volunteer service,and at the same time understand the early formation and development of this project.And through semi-structured interviews to understand the attitudes,opinions and suggestions of the elderly,volunteers and social workers in the community on voluntary mutual assistance for the elderly,and to explore the role of social work in "participation","health","guarantee""The problems existing in the practice process,so as to put forward relevant suggestions.The study found that social work uses professional methods to intervene in community elderly volunteer mutual assistance services for the elderly.By building a voluntary elderly care service mutual assistance platform,the social participation of the elderly can be enhanced;through volunteer training,the continuity and continuity of elderly participation in volunteer services can be maintained.stability.In terms of health,the role of resource linker is played,and a variety of volunteer service activities are carried out,which effectively promotes the physical and mental health of the elderly.At the security level,social work establishes an effective incentive mechanism to protect the rights and interests of elderly volunteers.However,in the process of social work’s involvement in community mutual assistance and voluntary services for the elderly,there are problems such as insufficient assessment of the needs of service objects by social workers,the need to improve social workers’ own abilities,and the lack of policy and financial support,which still needs to be further improved.
