Due to the restriction of natural physical environment and economic development conditions,it is difficult to guarantee the overall quality of education in the vast suburban areas. However,in the era of rapid development of information technology, suburban areas also have the possibility to enjoy high quality educational resources, which can to some extent change the problems of outdated educational equipment and lack of educational resources.Under the background of rural revitalization, the development of rural education has put forward higher requirements for teachers’ teaching level. However,on the one hand, the learning and use of information technology can improve teaching,on the other hand,it will increase the workload of teachers in the early stage, and even psychological pressure, which will affect the intrinsic motivation of teachers when using information technology, leading to teachers’ physical and psychological maladjustment.Teachers’ physical, mental and emotional adaptation obstacles caused by the use of technology are teachers’ technostress(TS).Based on the self-determination theory, this study explored the overall status of teachers’ TS,its possible causes, and its impact on the personal health of primary school teachers through a mixed research method combining questionnaire survey and interview.Among them,a total of 779 suburban primary school teachers completed the questionnaire and 10 teachers participated in the interview.Analysis of the results of the study showed that the suburban primary school teachers have a high degree of TS,TS of different teachers in gender, age, education background, children, teaching years, professional background are difference. And teachers’ TS to use ICT to complete administrative tasks, the strength of the parents communication has significant correlation, but were significantly associated with teacher’s ICT literacy does not exist. In addition, the results also showed that TS had a significant predictive effect on the overall physical health of suburban primary school teachers, and ICT literacy played a moderating role.Meanwhile, based on the analysis of the interview results,it is found that the strategies of suburban primary school teachers to deal with TS can be divided into three types: active adjustment, passive response and complete neglect.Based on the research results, combined with interviews and research theories, strategic suggestions are put forward from three aspects: society, school and teachers.
