Exploration Of Social Work Interwention In Community Care For Migrant Children

With the great changes in the world economy,society,population structure and ideology,the "care deficit" caused by the increasing demand for traditional nuclear family care and the decreasing family care resources seriously affects the growth and development of migrant children,which has aroused widespread concern in the society.To this end,the state "14th Five-year Plan" pointed out that we should strengthen the construction of community children’s homes,encourage all social forces to actively participate in the migrant children care service system.From the perspective of social work,it is the main topic of this study to explore how to excavate community resources and coordinate various forces to carry out community care services for migrant children.This paper is guided by community care theory and social support theory,and this study collected data through interview method and observation method,analyzed the current situation and existing problems of migrant children’s care in Z community,and determined care needs.The findings are as follows: migrant children in Z community have a care gap,low quality of family care,lack of effective parent-child communication,and basic care needs such as schoolwork guidance and parent-child companionship.Migrant children in the community care resources idle,informal support is low,there is a need to build community support network.It is difficult for floating families to afford market services and children’s interest development is limited,so there is a need for comprehensive development and the construction of child-friendly communities.To meet the demand of Z floating children to take care of the community,improve the level of care.This study adopts the model of community care intervention,in providing direct care services such as managed care,schoolwork.On the basis of providing care services such as direct custodial care and schoolwork guidance,in the process of research,emphasis was placed on cultivating community volunteers,building community support networks for migrant children,linking social resources such as universities,and advocating the construction of child-friendly communities.Through mobilizing informal care resources,community care can effectively fill the care gaps of migrant children in Community Z and meet their care needs.The pressure of family care for migrant children has been effectively alleviated,and a community support network for migrant children has been set up in the community.Finally,a relatively perfect community care service system for migrant children has been formed,which includes coordination of work teams,participation of various forces and diversified service contents.Social work intervention in the community care of migrant children has achieved preliminary results,but there are still some shortcomings in the practical process.Combined with the actual situation of the community,this study puts forward targeted suggestions for the further improvement of the community care service system for migrant children from the aspects of activity form,resource link,volunteer professional ability and service effectiveness evaluation.
