Research On The Current Situation,Problems And Countermeasures Of Enrollment In Private Higher Vocational Colleges In Southern Jiangsu

With the development of Higher Vocational Education in China,in order to ensure their own development,the major higher vocational colleges have improved the competition for students.Due to the limited number of college entrance examination every year,the enrollment of Higher Vocational Colleges once fell into a dilemma.In particular,the shortage of students,low quality of students and difficulties in enrollment in private higher vocational colleges have become a serious problem that the state and society can not ignore.It is also a severe challenge faced by private higher vocational colleges in China.This paper selects dy Vocational College in southern Jiangsu as the main research object,and deeply explores the prosperity of private higher vocational education at home and abroad and the recent enrollment process of Private Higher Vocational Colleges in China.During the research period,using the methods of investigation and case study,combined with stakeholder theory,system theory and incentive theory,this paper summarizes the current situation and problems of enrollment in Private Higher Vocational Colleges in southern Jiangsu,which are mainly reflected in four aspects: the decline of the overall source of students and the quality of the source of students,the small number of candidates,the low admission rate and registration rate,the uneven placement of the source of students’ enrollment plan and the voluntary filling of majors,and the non-compliance of majors with the adjustment.The main reasons for the current situation and problems of these enrollment are as follows: the development of private higher vocational education has national reasons,and the overall attention of the state is not enough;The decline of the overall source of students and the low quality are the realistic reasons at the objective level of society;The reasons for the self-development of private higher vocational colleges;The reasons for the unreasonable specialty setting in private higher vocational colleges.Then it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the enrollment difficulties of Private Higher Vocational Colleges in southern Jiangsu: seeking national policy support and improving social cognition;Broaden the enrollment channels of Higher Vocational Colleges under the existing national enrollment policy framework;Suggestions on strengthening the enrollment and school running strength of private higher vocational colleges.Through the investigation and analysis of the current situation,this paper summarizes the historical experience and provides theoretical support for the development of enrollment in private higher vocational colleges;Through comparative exploration and learning from the successful experience of enrollment progress of Private Higher Vocational Colleges in other regions,this paper puts forward some constructive suggestions on the development of enrollment work of private higher vocational colleges;Strive to explore the depth and breadth of research problems.Lay a solid foundation for future research and provide more systematic ideas.Based on the current situation of enrollment in private higher vocational colleges,there are some problems.Among them,the theoretical discussion taking the typical enrollment problem as the research object is timely and targeted.Therefore,it can provide reference for relevant departments to formulate policies;This paper puts forward the countermeasures to improve the enrollment environment of Private Higher Vocational Colleges in southern Jiangsu.It will also serve as a link,and even solve the problem of enrollment difficulties of Private Higher Vocational Colleges in China,so as to promote the stable development of private higher vocational education.
