The Study Of Uyghur Under Graduates’ Social Mentality

Social mentality is the weathervanes of observing social change.Uyghur undergraduates are the future builders and backbone of the development and prosperity of ethnic minority areas.Therefore,social mentality not only influences their all-round development,but also relates to the development of Xinjiang,national unity,social stability and national security.Hence,to explore the social mentality of Uyghur undergraduates under the background of the current society is crucial to construct harmonious society.On the basis of combing the domestic and international literature on social mentality,this paper explores the mutual construction relationship between individual and social mentality from the perspective of "individual in the group" and agrees generative model of "multi factor determinism" in social mentality.The main purpose of this study was to explore and analyze the significantly influence of demographic factors,family factors and cultural factors in the Uygur undergraduates’ the social mentality scores.Under the premise of analyzing the structure and measurement index with many social mentality mainly uses six dimension analysis method(including Wang Yifu,Pan Xiaofu’s "government trust","life satisfaction","social justice","sense of social problem","social security","social stress").This investgation uses 52 indicators(including "identity satisfaction","academic pressure" etc.)to make a survey of 550 Uyghur undergraduates in Tarim university.At the same time,The author makes interview outline to conduct in-depth interviews with 25 typical cases and uses AMOS18.0to conduct verification and interpretation model,SPSS20.0 to make a descriptive statistics,exploratory factor analysis,ANOVA,multiple comparison and etc.Combining theoretical analysis and empirical research,the results showed the change of general situation and the specific situation of the social mentality of the Uighur undergraduates.According to the problems existing in the Uyghur undergraduates,in order to effectively promote the Uygur College Students to cultivate positive social mentality,and the harmonious campus construction and the development of a harmonious society,the exploration of the "Four Integration" cultivation path is required.This thesis analyzes and research from thees 4 parts:The first part: Introduction.It is pointed out that cultivating the Urghur undergraduate college students’ positive social mentality is an important content of promoting psychological harmony and comprehensive development of Urghur undergraduates.On the basis of combing the materials and researches about social mentality at home and abroad,it demonstrated that the theoretical and practical significance of the study on the social mentality of Urghur undergraduates.This study points out some problems existing in the present research,and puts forward the innovation of this paper.Using the "six dimension analysis method",makes “A questionnaire on social mentality of Urghur undergraduates ”。It begins from the definition of the relevant concepts and then takes the theory of all-round development of human beings,positive psychology theory and social identity theory as the theoretical support of the survey.The second part: Empirical analysis.The data of 508 valid questionnaires were statistical analyzed by SPSS20.0.Data analysis is divided into two parts: one is the situation analysis,aiming to determine the general state of social mentality of Uygur undergraduates and give a detailed analysis of each dimension.It explores the six dimensions of Uygur undergraduates’ social mentality and the internal situation of each dimension.The other is Characteristic expression,mainly inducing and classifying the social mentality of Urghur undergraduates.It discusses the reasons for the differences of the social mentality of Uygur College Students with different demographic factors,family factors and cultural factors.The third part: Analysis of influencing factors.From the macro level,meso level and micro level,it explores the reasons for the formation of the second part of the survey results.The fourth part: Suggestion and expectation.In current study,useing "Four Integration" construction and cultivation path means the integration of ideological and political education with positive psychology,integration of ideological and political education with environment construction,integration of ideological and political education with local reality,integration of ideological and political education with Polytropic force,to promote the positive social mentality cultivation of Urghur undergraduates.However,combined with the limitations of the study,it deserves a further study in the future.
