Research On The Incentive Problems And Countermeasures Of Social Workers From The Perspective Of Two Factor Theory

Giving full play to the function of social work can safeguard social equality and justice,strengthen social governance and mobilize social enthusiasm,social workers have played a great role in preventing and dealing with social problems,promoting social development and coordinating relations.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how to motivate social workers in social work institutions.In this paper,a social worker in a local social work institution is chosen as the research object,and under the guidance of the two-factor theory,the motivation mode in the Social Work Institution is studied,in order to sum up the existing motivation experience and find out the existing problems,put forward certain countermeasures and suggestions.The two-factor theory divides the factors that affect people into two categories:incentive factors and health factors.Motivation factors are internal factors closely related to job content,including job satisfaction,job recognition,job promotion and job growth,while health factors are external factors related to work,including the environment,salary,working atmosphere,interpersonal communication,institutional reform and so on.Through the interview with the social worker in the organization,we know that there has been a certain kind of motivation in the organization.In the aspect of motivation factors,the motivation of institutions to social workers is manifested in high recognition of social workers work,strong sense of achievement and flexible work content.In the aspect of health care factors,the motivation of institutions to social workers lies in providing social workers with good working conditions and welfare treatment,and maintaining good interpersonal relationship.In addition,there are some problems in the process of motivating social workers.In the aspect of motivating factors,the evaluation mechanism is not perfect,the work is challenging,the consciousness of development is weak and the degree of social approval is not high In terms of health care factors,the management of institutions is not perfect,pay is not ideal,social workers lack of career development channels,industry specificity and low awareness of institutions are also the problems faced by institutions.To solve these problems,the government,social work associations,institutions and social workers themselves should make efforts to provide a good policy support and development environment for social workers.
