Research On The Characteristics Of Architectural Decorative Art And Cultural Derivative Design Of Yuelu Academy

In recent years,with the continuous deepening of the major national policy of“comprehensive revival of traditional culture”,the protection and development of traditional culture have been paid more attention from people in all walks of life.As the first of four famous academies in ancient China,Yuelu Academy is a cultural educational organization with the complete system,in which hidden at famous scenic mountains and rivers.And its architecture also has exposed to wind and rain for thousands of years.However,most for the academy’s research has focused on history and culture,the “Millennium Academy” is placed on the ivory tower of education.Due to the lack of attention to it and the lack of relevant researches,the rich cultural genes contained in it and the spirit of academy have been covered and the beauty of architectural decoration is only displayed in the tranquil courtyard.Because of its geographical location,the ways of dissemination,development and reuse all are limited.At the level of national cultural strategy,it is necessary to integrated development of culture and tourism,to constantly satisfy people’s yearning for a better life.At the category of art design,it is necessary to the style bearing and aesthetic inheritance of excellent Chinese traditional culture and even the continuation of craftsman spirit.Those are urgent problems needed us to discuss.This paper takes the architectural decoration of Yuelu Academy as the research object,and conducts research on its inheritance and development and reuse.About the protection and inheritance issues,analyzing the research on the architectural decoration of Yuelu Academy and the preservation of various dynasties,the author analyzes three aspects of artistic characteristics,decorative levels,and aesthetic tendencies,from which summarizes the its unique decorative features and design method system.What’s more,combining with the current policy situation,the author also puts forward inheritance path of architectural decoration that the inherited road of state presence,and the developing road of debugging and reconstruction.For the development and utilization of Yuelu Academy,the necessity of developing Yuelu Academy’s architectural decoration at present is discussed,and principles suitable for the development and utilization of Academy’s architectural decoration are proposed.In the end,the development and utilization mode of promoting architectural decoration with the development of academies is explored to carry out innovative design practices.Exploring the development path in the process of inheriting history,and providing possibility and feasibility reference for modernization of traditional culture.Through this research,the public’s cognition of Yuelu Academy’s architectural decoration can be strengthened,and it can provide a reference path for its inheritance and development in the new era,make positive efforts for the dissemination of academy culture and,broadcast the patriotic tradition and humanistic spirit of the academy.
