Labor is the process of creating material wealth and spiritual wealth.It is a unique basic social practice of mankind.Since the founding of new China,the party and government have attached great importance to the combination of education and productive labor.In 1958,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the instruction on educational work,which listed productive labor as a formal curriculum for the first time.In 1978,Deng Xiaoping proposed at the national education conference that we should better implement the policy of combining education with productive labor,so as to restore the development of labor education in Colleges and universities.In 2020,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening labor education in primary,middle and primary schools in the new era,which planned and designed labor education in the new era.Labor education is a new requirement put forward by the party for the all-round development of the education system in the new era.Under the social background of economic globalization,value diversification and educational democratization,college students in the new era have some problems,such as distortion of labor values,lack of labor spirit,lack of labor skills and so on.Therefore,exploring the educational value and implementation path of labor education in Colleges and universities is not only a new topic for talent training in Colleges and universities,but also the due meaning of Ideological and political education in Colleges and universities in the new era.It is of positive significance to strengthen labor education in Colleges and universities,guide college students to resist the influence of wrong ideological trends,establish a correct concept of labor,and build a correct world outlook,outlook on life and values.Under the guidance of Marxist theory,this paper scientifically uses the relevant knowledge of pedagogy,labor psychology,statistics,sociology and other disciplines,combined with the previous research results,and uses the methods of literature review,interview survey and comparative analysis to deeply study the educational value and realization path of labor education in Colleges and universities.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly discusses the research purpose and significance,and combs the main viewpoints and research methods of labor education literature at home and abroad.The second part analyzes the concepts and theoretical basis of establishing morality and cultivating people and labor education.The third part expounds the educational value of labor education in Colleges and universities,mainly discusses the logical relationship between labor education and moral education,and the comprehensive educational value of labor education in cultivating morality,increasing intelligence and strengthening physical beauty.The fourth part,combined with the development process of labor education in Colleges and universities,analyzes the practical difficulties and reasons for the realization of the educational value of labor education in Colleges and universities through the method of interview and investigation.The fifth part discusses the effective ways to realize the value of labor education in Colleges and universities from three aspects: the renewal of the concept of labor education in Colleges and universities,the construction of labor education system in Colleges and universities,and the construction of labor education security system in Colleges and universities.
