| In recent decades,Chinese families are undergoing profound and comprehensive changes, and the shrinkage of families and the early period of the empty nest period have been one of the important performances. With the changes in my country’s family structure, the phenomenon of middle-aged empty nests is becoming more and more common. That is,when all children leave their core families because they go out to school or work, their parents are still in the middle-aged stage of 45-59 years old and have labor ability.Researchers call this phenomenon "new empty nests".Compared with men in the family, women are more likely to be affected by the empty nest period. As far as the rural "new empty nest" family is concerned, women are relatively weak, and they should pay more attention and support as an important force for rural revitalization. Therefore, research focuses on women in rural "new empty nests"families. It aims to discover the dilemma they face through qualitative research, analyze the influencing factors from the perspective of social support, and propose corresponding social work intervention strategies.Under the guidance of social support theory, investigating and research is carried out by the H Village of Shandong Province as an example.Research has found that the difficulties faced by rural "new empty nest" women are mainly manifested in five aspects:firstly, low selfworth, specifically manifested as inferiority and helplessness in the face of difficulties caused by identity solidification; The second is poor role adaptation, mainly referring to the unequal emotional needs between rural "new empty nest" mothers and children between generations;Thirdly, the family pressure is heavy, that is,rural "new empty nest" women face heavy household chores,as well as heavy pressure, economic burden and the care of elderly;Fourth, social participation is passive, manifested as rural "new empty nest" women who have the willingness to participate in society, but are hindered by the reality and difficult to achieve; The fifth reason is the persistent psychological anxiety, which stems from the fact that they always consider their children’s marriage and love situation as their "task",while also worrying about their future retirement life.On this basis, the analysis framework is based on social support theory to comprehensively analyze the social support characteristics of "new empty nests" women in the countryside and the performance and reasons for lack of support. The social support characteristics of rural "new empty nest" women are manifested in a multi subject social support network, diversified social support content, and direct and indirect social support transmission modes. In the analysis of insufficient social support, analysis from the social support of women in rural "new empty nests" for women, including poor family support, insufficient support for relatives and neighborhoods, insufficient support for peers, government communities and social organizations in lack of formal social support EssenceThe intervention and intervention of professional social work can stimulate individual potential and self-awareness,and promote self-changes.Social work is necessary and feasible to intervene in rural "new empty nests".Therefore, according to the theory of social support, the social work intervention strategy is proposed from four different levels:deepen professional social work services and enhance individual anti-inverse force;multi-party subjects participate in the common improvement of social support networks;strengthen formal resources to increase rights and empowerment;Policy feedback and advocacy. |
