| Teachers are the propagators of human civilization and the engineers of the human soul,playing a pivotal role in the development of human history.The vast majority of primary and secondary school teachers in Our country are diligent and conscientious,and adhere to the principle of building people with virtue.However,as Chinese society enters a new stage of development,money worship and hedonism inevitably penetrate into the field of education.The gradual dilution of teachers’ idea of honest education,as well as various external adverse temptations,the problem of teacher morality failure of primary and secondary school teachers is related to the stable development of education and the overall progress of society,and all sectors of society are highly concerned.The Party Central Committee and the education department have formulated and implemented measures and measures for violations of professional ethics by primary and secondary school teachers.However,these methods and measures have not fundamentally prevented the misconduct of primary and secondary school teachers.Cases of unfair treatment of students by primary and secondary school teachers,paid make-up classes,excessive punishment,academic misconduct,and other cases of teacher moral failure are still common.This paper analyzes the real cases of teacher moral failure of primary and secondary school teachers exposed in recent years from the perspective of educational ethics.Using the literature research method,case study method and systematic analysis method,the moral failure behavior of primary and secondary school teachers is taken as the research object,and the three main manifestations of the irregular behavior are summarized according to the severity of the consequences caused by the behavior: improper behavior,dereliction of duty and dereliction of duty.From the basic theory of educational ethics,that is,the principles,categories and evaluation methods,the teachers’ moral failure behavior of primary and secondary school teachers is analyzed,and the reasons for the failure of teachers in primary and secondary schools are as follows: first,social reasons,including the differentiation of values of social transformation,the utilitarianization and instrumentalization of education,and the role of negative public opinion;second,the reasons for schools and education management departments,including the unrealistic formulation of the teacher moral evaluation system and the lack of humanization in the implementation of the management system;the third is the teacher’s own reasons,including the abuse of authority.Lack of educational rationality,lack of people-oriented training concepts,and dilution of educational ethics awareness.Finally,countermeasures to prevent and control the moral failure of primary and secondary school teachers are proposed.Including the implementation of harmonious education,to create a good ethical environment,innovation of teachers’ moral assessment and evaluation mechanism,people-oriented,awaken the teacher’s sense of subjectivity.Primary and secondary school teachers have a good teacher ethics and teaching style,in order to play a positive role in promoting the development of education. |
