| Since the 18 th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the importance of patriotic education and proposed to make patriotic education an eternal theme.Youth in general is the hope of the country and the nation,and the important focus of patriotic education in the new era is undoubtedly the youth group,especially young college students.At present,the deep development of Internet technology and the rapid rise of short video platforms in China have been widely used among college students,which brings opportunities for the development of patriotic education of college students and challenges the traditional methods and approaches of patriotic education at the same time.How to effectively use the communication advantages of short video carrier to carry out effective patriotism education for college students has become an important issue of patriotism education in colleges and universities.Short video realizes the unification of text and image narrative,which is more suitable for the thinking and behavior patterns of contemporary college students."Short video + patriotism education of college students further broadens the communication carrier,breaks through the limitation of time and space,strengthens the audience participation and enhances the education effect.Guided by the "Implementation Outline of Patriotic Education in the New Era",this paper explores the practical path of "short video + patriotic education for college students" and enhances the effectiveness of patriotic education for college students in the new era by making comprehensive use of relevant theories and research results of ideological and political pedagogy and communication science.The whole paper is divided into six parts:Chapter 1 is the introductory part.It mainly explains the research background and significance of the thesis,the review of domestic and foreign researches,the research method and research ideas,and points out the innovation of the thesis.Chapter 2 is related concepts and theoretical basis.It mainly elaborates the basic connotation,types and communication characteristics of short videos,and discusses the theoretical basis for the application of short videos in patriotic education of college students.Chapter 3 is the opportunities and challenges brought by short videos to patriotism education of college students.The dissemination of short videos,on the one hand,strengthens the attractiveness,influence and effectiveness of patriotic education for college students;on the other hand,it has certain influence on the main role,connotation,carrier and method of patriotic education.Chapter 4 is a case study.This paper focuses on short videos about patriotism education,screens 20 high-quality short videos about patriotism education from Jieyin and B station,conducts a case study on them,and conducts a comparative study on the research samples of Jieyin and B station,analyzes their common points and differences,grasps the current situation of the role of short videos in patriotism education of college students,and lays a foundation for proposing the short videos in patriotism education in college The foundation is laid for proposing the application path of short videos in university patriotic education.Chapter 5 is the optimization path.Combining with the above research results,we propose the paths of using short videos to strengthen patriotic education of college students from three levels of colleges and universities,educators and college students,aiming to improve the relevance and effectiveness of patriotic education of college students: to build campus short video culture and expand the penetration of patriotic education;to improve the short video application ability of educators and optimize the way of patriotic education;to give play to the subjective and active role of college students and to encourage them to "educate for patriotism".The thesis is divided into two chapters: the creation of campus short video culture and the expansion of patriotic education penetration;the improvement of educators’ short video application ability and the optimization of patriotic education methods;and the play of students’ active role and the encouragement of students’ self-education.Chapter 6 presents the research shortcomings and future prospects of this thesis. |
