| Instructional design has long been a popular topic in educational research,attracting the interest of an increasing number of scholars.Instructional design,as a key link in teaching,takes the lead in teaching activities.The effectiveness and controllability of instructional activities are directly affected by the success of teaching design.The primary course of basic education is mathematics.Because high school mathematics instruction has a significant impact on other subjects in high school,high school mathematics teaching is very important.SOLO categorization theory is a cognitive development paradigm that divides cognitive development into two categories:thinking mode and reaction level.The SOLO classification theory model can reflect not only the difference in cognitive quality of pupils,but also the difference in quantity.It can systematically explain learners’ performance when confronted with various learning activities and gives a strong theoretical underpinning for our instructional design.Our basic criteria of "everything for students,for all students,for all students" is a teaching design based on an investigation of students’ thinking levels utilizing SOLO categorization theory.To begin,the paper employs the literature analysis approach to thoroughly sort through the relevant literature of SOLO classification theory and counting principle.Second,using SOLO classification theory and taking into account the level of students’ thinking structure,further differentiate the easy points and difficulties from the perspectives of teachers and students through interviews and surveys,in order to optimize the teaching design in conjunction with reality.In particular,the entire instructional design process is directed by many layers of SOLO classification theory,with the purpose of boosting the level of mathematical thinking of senior high school pupils.Ultimately,experimental study validates the efficiency of SOLO categorization theory in senior high school mathematics instructional design.According to the results of the experiment,the design of middle school mathematics education based on SOLO categorization theory can improve students’ mathematical thinking level.The research shows that SOLO classification theory is helpful for teachers to accurately evaluate students’ thinking level,SOLO classification theory is helpful for teachers to accurately grasp the requirements of curriculum standards,and SOLO classification theory is helpful for teachers to reasonably use teaching methods and find growth points for teaching activities.Therefore,SOLO classification theory is of great significance to senior high school mathematics teaching design. |
