| Mathematical understanding is a mental activity process,and in the process of mathematics teaching,mathematical understanding is the foundation and premise for developing students’ core literacy in mathematics.Mathematical understanding is also a learning result,a comprehensive ability that can be measured and evaluated.The basic inequality form is simple and rich in connotation.It is based on the concepts of perfect squared formulas,circles and inequalities,and has important applications in solving triangles,maxima problems,and linear programming.Under the background of core literacy,this paper uses "basic inequality" as the content carrier to carry out a survey and research on the mathematical comprehension level of high school students.The research method used literature research method,test survey method and interview method.It focuses on how to reasonably divide the understanding level of basic inequalities,the current situation of the understanding level of basic inequalities of senior students,and the suggestions for improving the teaching of basic inequalities under the guidance of core literacy.Firstly,by combing through a large number of relevant literature at home and abroad,how to divide the level of understanding is determined,which is used as the basis for the analysis of this study and lays a foundation for subsequent research.According to the law and characteristics of students’ mathematical cognitive development,based on the Sgen understanding model and the relevant research results of Professor Wang Guangming,the understanding of basic inequalities of high school students is divided into three understanding levels:operational understanding,relational understanding,and creative understanding,and is associated with the core literacy of mathematics.Then,on the basis of theoretical analysis and according to the curriculum standards,a questionnaire was prepared to investigate the current situation of students’ mathematical understanding level and analyze the problems that appear in the test paper.The study found that students’ understanding of basic inequalities is more inclined to operational understanding,which is slightly lacking in relational understanding.A small number of students can achieve mobility understanding,while in terms of core literacy,most students are in the first level.Finally,according to the problems reflected in the test survey,a questionnaire was prepared,and a one-on-one interview survey was conducted for 10 front-line teachers(including expert,empirical and initial).Through interviews and exchanges with different types of teachers and further thinking about the problems reflected in the test,the author puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions from three levels of understanding:attaching importance to the role of complex situations and real learning tasks in promoting teaching;highlighting the status and role of structural analysis in algebraic operations and geometric transformation;and highlighting the coordination and consistency of the refinement and application of knowledge. |
