In the psychology about the memory research is very common. There are also a great many achievements in mathematical memory research. Among them, some are the general applications of the psychological memory research (for example, how to use the related methods in memory to remember many mathematical concepts and formulas). Others involve how mathematical memory affects mathematical learning. This article embarks from the high school student's mathematical memory. The author emphatically studies how the high school students' mathematical memory affect their mathematical understanding exactly, purposing to find out the relationships between mathematical memory research and mathematical study.In the article, the author first made a succinct narrate on memory, understanding and mathematical understanding. Then the author has conducted a practice research. First he made a questionnaire survey, and used the systematic sampling way, he has picked out 99 from 990 students as samples, who are studying in the second year in the senior middle school in Shuangpai, and investigated the actual situation of their mathematical memory and mathematical understanding.Then the author carried on a visit conversation. He has picket out 3 students who are different from the level of mathematical memory and understanding, and then conducted the key comparison research. The author discovered that there was a direct proportion between mathematical memory and understanding. In this foundation, the author has studied three more related problems: the mathematical model memory, the failure of mathematical memory and the barrier of mathematics understanding.Finally, according to the practice research results and the correlation theories, the author put forward this teaching enlightenment to mathematics, including three aspects: the suggestion of memory ability training, the reconsideration of solving mathematical problems and the tentative plan of individuality teaching.
