Solid geometry is a compulsory content in senior high school, and it is an important module about spatial form and position relationship, which is of great significance to cultivate students’ spatial imagination and abstract thinking.ACT-R theory divides knowledge into declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge, and holds that learning is a process from declarative knowledge to procedural knowledge through practice and finally to automation. In this thesis,ACT-R theory is applied to the teaching optimization design process of solid geometry, and the teaching design of Parallelism of Lines and Planes is taken as an example to explore the ideas and suggestions of the teaching optimization design of solid geometry based on ACT-R theory. The main research methods in this thesis are literature search, investigation, case analysis and experiment.Firstly, through questionnaire survey and interview, the study status of students’ solid geometry was investigated, and the existing problems were found, which pointed out the direction for the optimal design of solid geometry teaching.Secondly,it analyzes the value of the combination of ACT-R theory and solid geometry, divides the teaching optimization design process of solid geometry based on ACT-R theory into three stages and seven links, and puts forward seven principles.Based on the ACT-R theory, the teaching case of solid geometry is designed, and the case is put into practice. The students of Grade One in senior high school are selected to design a control experiment.Through the analysis of the experimental results,it is found that the optimal design of solid geometry teaching based on the ACT-R theory can not only improve the learning efficiency, but also promote the development of students’ emotional state. Finally, some suggestions are put forward for the optimal design of solid geometry teaching based on ACT-R theory. The main research results of this thesis are as follows: First, seven principles of geometry teaching design guided by ACT-R theory are put forward: generative principle, procedural principle, intuitive principle, strategic principle, simplification principle, exquisiteness principle and migration principle. The teaching process is divided into three stages and seven links:(1)declarative stage: creating problem situations(connecting with old knowledge)and introducing new lessons;Applying teaching strategies(grading learning objectives)to explore new knowledge.(2)Procedural stage: explain examples and gain new knowledge;Ask questions and interact to consolidate new knowledge;Variant training, testing new knowledge.(3)Automation stage: mastering new knowledge skillfully and using new knowledge to solve problems independently;Class summary, review and promotion;After-class testing, feedback and communication.Secondly, the teaching design of solid geometry under the guidance of ACT-R theory can better stimulate students’ curiosity and enthusiasm for learning than the traditional teaching mode of solid geometry, thus not only improving teaching efficiency, but also promoting the development of students’ affection and realizing the all-round and coordinated development of students.Thirdly, according to the practical results, several suggestions are put forward for the optimal design of solid geometry teaching based on ACT-R theory: pay attention to the initiative of knowledge learning in the declarative stage; The teaching process protects students’ thirst for knowledge and enthusiasm for learning;Establish a target level, pay attention to the learning situation and curriculum standards;Refinement of practice;Pay attention to the intuition of knowledge by means of information technology;Attach importance to drawing training and cultivate students’ spatial imagination ability;Attention should be paid to the cultivation of mathematical thinking methods in the teaching process;Pay attention to the diversification of teaching methods;Pay attention to the difficulties and grasp the rhythm of knowledge explanation.
