The “Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)”clarifies the specific requirements for the cultivation of new talents in the era of compulsory education from three aspects: having ideals,abilities,and a strong sense of responsibility,and through the study of mathematics courses,students can master the “four basics” and “four abilities” which is necessary to adapt to modern life and to further study.In order to help students fully accumulate basic activity experiences,perceive the discovery and development process of mathematical knowledge,experience mathematical ideas,and exercise thinking abilities,the primary school mathematics textbook published by Beijing Normal University Press has meticulously designed the “Fun Mathematics” unit in each volume,which includes two sections: “Synthesis and Practice” and “Other Contents”(including mathematical games,mathematical fun problems,mathematical applications,etc.).As an important carrier for cultivating students core literacy,“Fun Mathematics” should be taken seriously.However,at present,there is little research on the teaching of “Fun Mathematics” in primary schools based on the cultivation of core literacy,and there also exists a certain gap in the cognition of “Fun Mathematics” among teachers.Therefore,carrying out the teaching research and practice of“Fun Mathematics” has important theoretical significance and practical value.Through studying the primary school mathematics textbook published by Beijing Normal University Press and the latest version of the mathematics curriculum standards,the author systematically analyzed the contents,material sources,presentation methods,and arrangement characteristics of “Fun Mathematics”.Through questionnaire surveys,interviews with teachers,and classroom observations,this paper studied the present teaching status of“Fun Mathematics”,found the problems in teaching,analyzed the causes of existing problems,and at the same time,conducted case analysis on excellent teaching cases of famous teachers.On this basis,the optimization strategy of “Fun Mathematics” teaching in primary schools from the perspective of core literacy is proposed.The survey results show that there exist the following problems in the current teaching of“Fun Mathematics” in primary schools: First,there are obstacles in teachers’ cognition.That is,teachers do not correctly understand the meaning of “Fun Mathematics”,and the educational philosophy is still lagging behind and out-of-date;Second,the teaching goals of“Fun Mathematics” are not correctly set.That is,teachers are not creative in setting teaching goals,so that the teaching objectives fail to reflect the penetration of mathematical ideas and methods;Third,the status of students as the main body of learning is insufficient;Fourth,the implementation effect of evaluation and reflection is poor.That is,the teaching evaluation method is monotonous,and the quality of teaching reflection varies greatly.According to the content characteristics of the “Fun Mathematics” unit and the level of students’ thinking development,this study proposes the following optimization strategies by engaging with the cultivation of core literacy in mathematics,contraposing the problems existing in the teaching of “Fun Mathematics” and learning from the teaching experience of famous teachers: First,improve the cognition of “Fun Mathematics” and update the educational ideas.That is:conduct in-depth study of teaching contents,accurately position the core literacy of mathematics,update the ideas of education and cultivate innovative talents with all-round development.Second,set reasonable teaching goals to guide classroom teaching.That is: take the basic academic situation as the foundation,reflect the pertinence of the target design;demonstrate the accuracy of target design based on curriculum standards;take behavioral goals as the orientation to strengthen the operability of target design;use teaching feedback as a means to improve the effectiveness of teaching objectives reflection.Third,optimize the teaching of “Fun Mathematics” and conduct efficient classroom teaching.That is: fully integrate all kinds of curriculum resources and well prepare for teaching;respect students’ status as the main body of learning and encourage students independent exploration and practice;according to the actual teaching situation,reasonably select a variety of teaching methods.Fourth,scientifically implement teaching evaluation and attach importance to teaching reflection.That is: carefully design homework exercises to reasonably reduce students’ burden;scientifically implement teaching evaluation and collect timely feedback on teaching effectiveness;carry out teaching reflection intime and seriously summarize teaching experiences.
