Reading teaching is an important content of primary school Chinese teaching,and it is the main way and concrete practice to cultivate the core quality of Chinese.However,the traditional single-text reading teaching method can no longer meet the requirements of the Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards(2022 edition)for the cultivation of students’ core Chinese literacy.To solve this problem,the theme-based reading teaching with multi-text teaching as the core concept to improve students’ core Chinese literacy came into being.Based on the concept of core literacy,this study explores the design and implementation strategies of thematic reading teaching in primary Chinese,aiming to provide inspiration for front-line teachers to carry out thematic reading teaching.First of all,on the basis of systematic reference and analysis of literature,this study expounds the related concepts and theoretical basis of the design of primary school Chinese subject reading teaching,and clarifies the research question of this topic.Secondly,taking S Primary School high school as an example,this paper uses research methods such as questionnaire survey and interview survey to investigate the current status of thematic reading teaching,and finds out the actual problems in the current thematic reading teaching and causes them.Among them,the existing problems are highlighted in the following five aspects:the limitation of theme selection,the narrowness of goal design,the shallowness of content interpretation,the singleness of teaching method and the finality of teaching evaluation.The causes of these problems include four aspects:the teacher’s teaching cognition is not deep,the resource development is not enough,the teaching ability is not outstanding and the evaluation system is not perfect Thirdly,according to the realistic dilemma and the student-oriented education concept,this study puts forward the design strategy of thematic reading teaching in primary Chinese,namely:analyzing students’ learning situation and creating a learning community;Clear topic selection,improve pragmatic competence;Attach importance to goal connection and develop students’ thinking;Expand the content space and pay attention to students’ aesthetics;Enriching teaching methods and inheriting excellent culture;Multidimensional evaluation system,deepening the theme of thought.Finally,under the guidance of the previous research theory,a teaching design example of thematic leading was made and implemented on the first unit of the fifth grade Chinese textbook in the unified edition,and the classroom effect was evaluated by means of targeted exercise tests,classroom observation and works display,and the teaching implementation was reflected and improved measures were proposed.
