Mathematics homework is an important part of mathematics learning and complements mathematics teaching,helping students to consolidate knowledge and skills and develop mathematical literacy.However,for a long time,there have been many problems in the design of mathematics homework,such as difficult and old,not strong pertinence,monotonous form and so on.Junior high school students are in a critical stage of physical and mental development,and it is necessary to reduce the burden of students’homework and ensure the efficiency and quality of mathematics homework.Based on this,in July 2021,the "double reduction" policy was introduced,requiring a comprehensive reduction in the total amount and duration of homework,reducing students’ excessive homework burden and psychological burden,and improving the quality of homework design.In order to promote the effective implementation of the"double reduction" policy,this paper uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to investigate the current status of mathematics homework design in junior high school,analyzes the existing problems in homework design,and gives homework design strategies and homework design cases.The whole paper is mainly divided into six parts:the first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly expounds the research background,research significance,research content,research status at home and abroad,research methods and ideas.Chapter 2 defines the concepts and theoretical foundations,defines the core concepts of this paper,explains relevant educational theories,and provides relevant theoretical support for assignment design.Chapter 3 is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of mathematics homework design in junior high school,and the author discovers and summarizes the problems in homework design through questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews.Chapter 4 is the operation design strategy.which provides guidance for the design of the operation case by summarizing and summarizing the corresponding strategies;Chapter 5 is the design of specific homework cases,and the author designs homework for specific chapters in junior high school to provide homework design reference for mathematics educators.Chapter 6 is the conclusion and outlook,which elaborates the conclusions of this study,and reflects on the shortcomings of the research and puts forward the prospects.The author found that the current mathematics homework design in junior high school has problems such as teachers’ incomplete understanding of homework policies,unclear homework goal design,poor homework design content,weak homework design awareness,and subjectivization of homework design difficulty.In view of these problems,the author proposes the following homework design strategies:deepening teachers’ understanding of homework policies,formulating homework goals,designing homework hierarchically,enriching homework forms,guiding students to design homework,and expanding homework sources.According to the homework design strategy,the specific chapter homework is designed,hoping to provide mathematics educators with some reference in homework design.
