With the reform of basic education,core literacy has become a hot topic in the field of education,and how to cultivate students’ core literacy in school education has gradually become the main theme of education.For school education,the cultivation of core literacy in education needs to be carried out in the teaching of various disciplines.How to implement the cultivation of core literacy in information technology courses is the primary task of information technology teachers in classroom teaching.Different from the traditional teaching methods around class hours,large-unit teaching uses holistic and systematic thinking,takes big tasks or big themes as the center,integrates or reconstructs unit teaching content to carry out classroom teaching,and promotes the cultivation of students’ core literacy.Based on this,this paper applies large-unit teaching design to information technology discipline and explores the teaching effect of large-unit teaching in information technology discipline.Firstly,this study uses the method of literature research to sort out the literature of large unit teaching,core literacy and subject core literacy,and understand the research status at home and abroad.Secondly,through interviews and questionnaires.this paper investigates the core literacy of information technology discipline and the current situation of information technology classroom of seventh-grade students in X school,and analyzes the advantages and existing problems.According to the present situation of investigation,this study is based on the curriculum standards of information technology,students’ learning situation and teaching principles,and analyzes the contents of information technology textbooks from the perspecti ve of large units and the cultivation of students’ core literacy,and divides them into three major units:electronic product production.class data processing and I love my class website production.According to the actual teaching situation of grade seven in X school,I choose the website of I love my class to make this big unit for detailed teaching design and implementation.This study focuses on the theme of making a large unit on the website of I love my class,and integrates the class content according to the internal logical structure,unit content and core literacy requirements of the textbook,and divides it into three subtasks.Finally,this study adopts case study method to implement large-unit teaching for students in Class A of Grade 7.In the teaching process,a subtask evaluation scale is designed to realize the process evaluation of students.After the teaching is implemented,the data are sorted out and analyzed through the questionnaire of core literacy of information technology discipline and interviews with teachers and students to test the implementation effect of large-unit teaching of junior high school information technology course based on core literacy of discipline.Through teaching practice,it is proved that the large-unit teaching of junior high school information technology course based on subject core literacy is effective.This teaching practice has promoted the improvement of students’ core literacy of information technology subject,which provides reference for junior high school information technology teachers to apply large-unit teaching to information technology classroom.
