Since the core literacy of biology was proposed,the study of life concept has become one of the hot spots in biological research,and how to effectively implement the cultivation of life concept has become the focus of education and research.As an important way to transform subject knowledge into core literacy,unit teaching is of great significance to developing students’ concept of life.This paper will carry out practical research on unit teaching design for the purpose of cultivating the concept of life,in order to provide a teaching case for front-line teachers to cultivate the concept of life.After clarifying the research objective,this paper first uses the literature analysis method to extensively search and sort out the relevant theories,and on this basis,the questionnaire survey method is used to investigate the current situation of unit teaching based on teachers’ life concept training and the development degree of students’ life concept,and the existing problems are identified through the analysis of the survey results.Then,the case analysis method is used to analyze the practical chapters,clarify the process of unit teaching design,establish the unit teaching design framework,select the teaching unit "Structural Basis of Life System",and carry out unit teaching case design for the purpose of life concept cultivation.Using the experimental method,two parallel classes were selected for unit teaching and regular teaching respectively,and the development degree of their concept of life was reflected by detecting the changes in the learning performance of each class before and after practice.SPPSS27.0 software package is used to analyze the performance before and after teaching practice,and the results show that unit teaching can effectively promote students’ mastery of biological concepts and develop life concepts.This study draws two conclusions: first,unit teaching is conducive to the cultivation of life concepts;Second,unit teaching helps to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching..
