| The core competencies of geography are proposed in the“General High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition2020 Revision)”,which is the embodiment of the educational value of geography,which is both an opportunity and a challenge for the development of geography education.The cultivation of core competencies in geography is a continuous process that cannot be completed in one class.The orientation of instructional design should be changed from designing a certain knowledge point and a 40-minute class to designing a unit as the starting point.The unit teaching design is to plan the content from the whole,and has unique advantages in cultivating the core literacy of the geography subject.This paper studies the teaching design strategy of the high school geography unit based on the cultivation of the core literacy of the geography subject,and provides a reference for the front-line teachers to carry out the teaching design of the geography unit.The research methods mainly used in this paper are literature method,case analysis method,action research method,and interview method.The study takes the second volume of compulsory geography for senior high school(People’s Education Press,2019)“Transportation Layout and Regional Development” as an example.The research problem of this paper is the teaching design strategy of high school geography unit based on the cultivation of the core literacy of geography,and the research problem is refined into two aspects: one is how to propose the teaching design strategy of high school geography unit;the other is how to implement the teaching design strategy of high school geography unit On the basis of this,the specific research contents are as follows: On the one hand,the design strategy should infiltrate the core literacy of geography to be cultivated by the geographic unit.Taking the development unit as an example,it highlights the cultivation of comprehensive thinking and human-land coordination literacy,while taking into account the cultivation of other literacy.The conclusions drawn from the research are as follows: First,through the analysis of others’ transportation teaching cases,I designed and implemented the transportation layout and regional development units by myself,and obtained inspiration on design strategies,and then conducted interviews with high school geography teachers,The design strategy is perfected,and the following six design strategies are summarized from the perspective of the composition and relationship of the geographical unit teaching design: constructing content strategy around the core concept of the unit;reflecting comprehensive thinking and human-land coordination;Create situational strategies from the perspective of time and space;focus on problems to carry out teaching strategies;choose a combination of expressive and formative evaluation strategies.Second,under the guidance of the proposed high school geography unit instructional design strategy,a high school geography unit instructional design template is designed.This template consists of seven parts: unit teaching content analysis,learning situation analysis,unit teaching objective design,unit teaching method design,unit teaching process arrangement,class hour teaching activity arrangement,and unit teaching evaluation design.Thirdly,taking "Transportation Layout and Regional Development" as an example in the second volume of compulsory geography for senior high school(People’s Education Press,2019),through the analysis of transportation teaching cases,we can get inspiration on design strategies,and take the theoretical basis of this article as the guide.Thought,combined with the summary of the high school geography unit teaching design template,from the perspective of the same class and heterogeneity,two transportation layout and regional development unit teaching designs are designed,which are the transportation layout and regional development unit teaching design-with "transportation layout and regional development unit teaching design"."Transportation and Shijiazhuang City Development" as an example and the teaching design of the unit of transportation layout and regional development——Take "China-Laos Kunwan Railway and Regional Development" as an example. |
