| Currently,with the advancement of urbanization in various regions and the expansion of urban frameworks,more and more land in the urban-rural fringe has been expropriated,and village level institutions have been directly converted into urban "village to residential" communities.In this process of transitioning from rural to urban areas,influenced by traditional ideas,customs,and institutional inertia,villagers find it difficult to adapt to this transformation,and their survival,development,habits,and other aspects are facing certain challenges,Especially prominent is the challenge of living environment,which has triggered a series of environmental problems,affecting and constraining the urbanization process,and also hindering the healthy and sustainable development of "village to house" communities.Therefore,this study starts with the environmental governance subject of "village to house" community residents,focusing on improving their environmental knowledge awareness,establishing correct environmental values,actively participating in community environmental governance work with a positive environmental attitude,fundamentally solving the increasingly serious environmental problems in "village to house" communities,and achieving the goal of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.Taking the "Village to Residence" community in H Street,Q District as the survey location,A survey questionnaire and interview outline were designed based on the four dimensions of environmental awareness(namely environmental knowledge,environmental values,environmental attitudes,and environmental behavior orientation).The current situation of residents’ environmental awareness was surveyed through cluster sampling method,and quantitative research was used Through comparative research and other methods,a thorough analysis was conducted on the relevant factors affecting the environmental awareness level of residents in the community.It was found that the environmental awareness of residents in the community is characterized by a lack of environmental knowledge and systematic cognition;The concept of environmental values is self serving,and one should enjoy the convenience of the environment without being willing to assume the responsibility of protecting the environment;A positive attitude towards the environment and a strong desire to change the current situation;Environmental behavior is characterized by selectivity,being more favorable to oneself or being more positive in familiar aspects;The main factors affecting residents’ environmental awareness include: varying levels of environmental knowledge education,varying opportunities for residents to participate in environmental protection activities,and income levels and living habits of residents.Based on this,this study used the professional methods of community work,under the guidance of the Ecological systems theory,carried out a needs assessment from the individual,community and government levels,and then used the concept and methods of regional development model to guide the implementation of the practical process.The entire practical process mainly plans and implements a total of twelve specific activities of the "Community Residents’ Environmental Awareness Improvement Project" from two aspects: promoting the achievement of task objectives and process objectives.By linking internal and external resources,a platform for residents to participate in community affairs is built,promoting the improvement of the community environment,solving specific problems in the community,and enhancing the environmental awareness of community residents The enhancement of residents’ autonomy and self-determination abilities,as well as the strengthening of community identity and sense of belonging,has explored a new path for improving the environmental awareness and governance of residents in the "village to house" community,further promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the community. |
