Resilience refers to an individual’s ability to self-repair after setbacks and difficulties,and to use their own strengths to get out of difficulties.With the rapid development of today’s era,social pressure is becoming increasingly intense.Teenagers are faced with academic and social problems,as well as pressure from parents and schools.All these will make teenagers fall into difficulties and even have bad behaviors.This needs to improve the resilience level of teenagers,help them improve their ability to solve problems,and then get out of trouble.This paper,from the perspective of social work,uses the advantage perspective and experiential learning theory to guide,and uses group work method to improve the resilience of adolescents in distress.The main research object of this paper is 40 students from Nanning X School in grade 2021.The subjects of this study were all male adolescents aged 13-17,and the methods of interview,survey and statistical analysis were used to carry out the study.First of all,40 teenagers from X School in Nanning were measured for their anti-stress levels.Since the service objects could not leave school,the pre-date post-test focused on the assessment of the service objects from four aspects of personal goal concentration ability,emotion control ability,positive cognitive ability and interpersonal cooperation ability.The data show that the ability of service objects in emotion control,positive cognition,goal focus,interpersonal assistance and other aspects needs to be improved.The author 40 trouble teens in this project can be divided into 10 people a set of four groups,8 times of group activities,Through the analysis of the evaluation data and the interview data in the later stage,it showed that the stress level of 40 students was improved and the group goal was basically achieved.The results of this study show that through the intervention of group method,students in SCHOOL X have improved their abilities in target focus,emotion management,interpersonal assistance and positive cognition.The intervention of this group activity not only enhanced the confidence of the disadvantaged teenagers in SCHOOL X,enabling them to face up to the difficulties and challenges in the process of growing up,but also enhanced peer group communication and self-understanding.In addition,this study also suggests that to improve the resilience of adolescents in distress,other external actors,such as families and communities,should be involved in effective cooperation with social workers to continuously consolidate and develop the results of activities.
