A Study On The Present Situation And Strategies Of Parents’ Support In School Preparation Of Large Class Children

Abstract/Summary:
In basic education,early childhood school preparation is always a very important part.School preparation not only allows children to quickly change their role,but also allows children to face the upcoming primary school life more calmly,which is not only related to the comprehensive development of children,but also has an irreplaceable impact on the future lifelong development of children.The family is the child’s first school and the place where the child lives from childhood,and parents,as the child’s first teacher,play a crucial role in the child’s growth process.To this end,the researchers took 592 parents of large class in 5 public kindergartens in Nanning city as the research objects,and designed a questionnaire on parents’ support for large class children in school preparation according to the contents of the Guiding Points for Kindergarten Enrollment Preparation Education.Questionnaire method and interview method were used as research tools to understand the current situation of parents’ support for large class children in school preparation.In this study,the relevant research literature at home and abroad was thoroughly read and summarized,the relevant concepts were defined,and the theoretical basis of the research was clarified.Based on the analysis of the results of previous studies on children’s school readiness and parents’ school readiness,and combining the interest points of researchers,the basic idea and framework of this study are finally determined.Using questionnaire survey and interview as research tools,this study conducted an in-depth investigation on the current situation of parents’ support in children’s school preparation.spss data processing software was used to analyze and process related data.The researchers conducted an investigation and analysis from four dimensions of physical and mental readiness,life readiness,social readiness and learning readiness,and found that parents’ supportive behavior in school readiness has the following deficiencies: In terms of physical and mental readiness,parents pay little attention to the psychological construction of school readiness;In the aspect of life preparation,parents lack the awareness of cultivating children’s housework;In terms of social preparation,parents’ awareness of improving children’s interpersonal skills is weak;In terms of learning preparation,parents attach too much importance to knowledge education.In view of the shortcomings of parents in school preparation,the researchers analyzed the influencing factors of parents’ support problems in school preparation of large class children from three aspects: parents themselves,kindergartens and community environment,and proposed corresponding promotion strategies from the parent level,kindergarten level and social level respectively.Parents: should enhance the awareness of communication,improve the frequency of communication with teachers;Establish a scientific concept of school preparation;Renew the education concept,improve their own education ability.Kindergarten level:Build an effective communication platform to achieve extended communication;Strengthen home cooperation and improve the effectiveness of home co-breeding;Improve the quality of teachers and strengthen the guidance of teachers’ preparation for school.Social level: improve the service system,give full play to community resources;Create a common learning environment for families,kindergartens and communities to form educational synergy.
