| With China entering an aging society,the government and society should gradually pay more attention to the lives of disabled elderly people.The proportion of moderately disabled elderly people in the disabled population is increasing year by year,making them a doubly vulnerable group.The dual disadvantages bring great difficulties to their life confidence.Disabled elderly people are almost unwilling to express themselves,and negative emotions are long-term accumulated in their hearts.Being troubled by these negative emotions can easily lead to a loss of confidence in life,which is not conducive to the physical and mental health of the disabled elderly population.Currently,there is little research on the self-confidence of disabled elderly people in society,while social demand is constantly increasing.How to improve the life confidence of moderately disabled elderly people is the focus of this study.This paper takes X community disabled elderly people as the main research object and explores how to improve the life confidence of disabled elderly people through case work service methods and the use of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory.At the same time,the author uses questionnaire survey and interview methods to discuss in detail the problem of life confidence deficiency among disabled elderly people in the community.Through the application of professional social work methods to achieve the goal of improving the life confidence of disabled elderly people,we reflect on the changes made by disabled elderly people after the service,evaluate the service process,and propose improvement strategies.After the study,it was found that the approach of using social work to improve the life confidence of disabled elderly people is feasible and meaningful,and provides valuable experience for future case work services,so as to better bring life confidence to disabled elderly people.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research significance,research objects,and research methods of this topic.At the same time,relevant literature in this field is reviewed,concepts are defined,theories are analyzed,and the research design content of this topic is clarified.The second chapter designs a survey plan for moderately disabled elderly people in H Street.Through in-depth analysis of the survey results,the reasons for the lack of self-confidence in moderately disabled elderly people are explored.In order to apply social work to improve the self-confidence of disabled elderly people in their daily lives,the third chapter selects a representative and optimistic disabled elderly person as a case service object and conducts a case service analysis.Positive results have been achieved through this practical process.Finally,the fourth chapter reflects and summarizes the research on this topic,reviews and summarizes the entire study,identifies the shortcomings of the research,and proposes directions for improvement.The importance of this study lies in its ability to help improve the quality of life of moderately disabled elderly people and promote social harmony and development through the research of their self-confidence issues. |
