| Dragon boat culture is an excellent traditional sports culture in China,which represents the spirit of the Chinese people,showing the brave and indomitable fighting spirit and inspiring the unyielding spirit to go up.As an important carrier of dragon boat culture inheritance,colleges and universities should not only learn and inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture,but also undertake the historical mission of promoting its essence to the world.Based on the current development status of dragon-boat movement in colleges and universities in Changzhou,this paper introduces the SWOT AHP analysis method into the research on the development of dragon-boat movement in colleges and universities,and tries to use a new methodology to deeply explore its development characteristics and existing problems.In order to provide valuable reference for the inheritance and development of dragon boat culture in colleges and universities,and to further promote the dragon boat movement into colleges and universities to better inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture.1.Through field research on some colleges and universities in Changzhou,the SWOT-AHP research method is used to compare the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of dragon-boat movement in colleges and universities in Changzhou.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Advantages of dragon-boat movement in universities in Changzhou(S)include:government policy support,abundant water resources,solid foundation for dragon-boat development,and long cultural history.(2)Weaknesses in the development of dragon-boat sports in universities in Changzhou(W)include: insufficient funds for dragon-boat sports,shortage of dragon-boat sports venues and facilities,weak theoretical guidance for dragon-boat sports,and lack of professional dragon-boat sports coaching teams in universities.(3)Opportunities for the development of dragon-boat sport in colleges and universities in Changzhou(O)include: the value of traditional Chinese culture is constantly enhanced,the healthy life needs of the public are met,the commercial industrial chain of dragon-boat sport is constantly improved,and the promotion of dragon-boat sport is facilitated by new media platforms.(4)Threats to the development of dragon boat sport in universities in Changzhou(T)include: the limitation of dragon boat sport as a non-mainstream sport,adverse effects brought by the COVID-19 pandemic,and the lack of sport rating of dragon boat sport.Ii.The sequence of dragon-boat development strategies in Changzhou universities is as follows: SO pioneering strategy,ST fighting strategy,WO striving strategy and WT conservative strategy.It is concluded that SO pioneering strategy should be given priority in the future development of dragon-boat in colleges and universities of Changzhou.That is to say,in the future development process,it is necessary to fully maintain and give play to the advantages of natural conditions of water resources,historical and realistic resource base of dragon-boat movement,industrial base and mass base of dragon-boat movement in colleges and universities of Changzhou,and firmly grasp relevant national and local policies and market demands To develop opportunities,make good use of external conditions,constantly make up for their own weaknesses,cope with external challenges,and promote the sustainable development of dragon-boat sport in universities in Changzhou.Iii.On the basis of the above research,suggestions on the development of dragon-boat movement in universities in Changzhou are put forward as follows:(1)Give full play to the important role of the government in promoting dragon boat sport under the nationwide system,urge the Changzhou government to issue relevant policies,support universities in Changzhou to carry out dragon boat sport,and help Changzhou to build a famous dragon boat racing city.(2)Continuously promote the industrialization of dragon boat,upgrade and transform dragon boat sports venues and facilities,establish customized dragon boat bases,and lay the material foundation and future development strength for the development of dragon boat sports in universities in Changzhou.(3)Formulate and implement scientific dragon boat sports planning and management strategies,improve the competitive level of dragon-boat teams in colleges and universities in Changzhou,create a good campus dragon-boat sports cultural atmosphere,and form a sound development pattern of dragon-boat in colleges and universities in Changzhou with leaders’ attention and teachers and students’ efforts.(4)Set up courses and teaching contents related to the dragon Boat movement to improve college students’ understanding of the dragon boat movement and attract more students to participate in the dragon boat movement. |
