With the concept of "Chat GPT" rapidly gaining popularity worldwide,the upgrading and development of Artificial Intelligence(AI)technology has led to a growing interest in the digital transformation of education,and the use of AI technology to guide and drive educational change has become a common consensus around the world.Programming skills,as an important skill in the AI era,have become the focus of innovative talent development strategies globally and are receiving increasing attention from the education community.Currently,there is still a lack of formal teachers and programming curriculum resources for programming education,especially in the minority areas of Guangxi,and the factors hindering the development of programming education in primary and secondary schools need to be improved and solved.The years of practical application and expansion of communities of practice in the field of education illustrate the unique advantages of their unique organisational form in promoting organisational change in education.Therefore,how to build a mature community of practice for teaching AI dual-teacher programming in primary and secondary schools(compulsory education level)? And what are the achievements and shortcomings of the community in its implementation? How can it be improved? is the research content of this study.Firstly,starting from the identification of the selected topic,the research background,research purpose and significance,research ideas and methods are clarified,the literature on the community of practice at home and abroad is studied and analysed using the literature research method,the current situation of research on the community of practice at home and abroad is summarised and the relevant concepts of the community of practice are clarified,so as to determine the theoretical basis.Secondly,with the problem-oriented approach of solving the lack of teachers and insufficient curriculum resources for programming in schools in ethnic minority areas of Guangxi,the community of practice for teaching AI dual-teacher programming was constructed under the guidance of contextual learning theory and third-generation activity theory,and implemented in four aspects: teaching AI dual-teacher programming,building a resource system,guaranteeing rules and systems,and building a cultural community.Finally,the implementation of the community was investigated through questionnaire,interview and observation methods,and the findings were analysed and collated using SPSS26.0 software and NVIVO11.0 software.The results of the survey showed that the overall implementation of the community was successful during the one-year practice period,with varying degrees of improvement in the professionalism of teachers and basic security of the school’s programming curriculum resources.However,the effectiveness of the AI dual-teacher programming classroom needs to be further improved,the community’s resources need to be further constructed,the internal motivation of community members to participate in activities needs to be further stimulated,and the depth of collaboration among community members needs to be further promoted.In this regard,the community needs to improve the effective integration of online learning and offline practical training models for teachers,focus on teaching practice issues to improve the community’s resource supply,build a teacher incentive system to promote teachers’ energy,and promote the integration of online teaching and research with school-based curriculum development in four areas.The aim is to promote the balanced development of programming education in primary and secondary schools in ethnic minority areas of Guangxi,as well as to provide models and practical experience for other regions and schools to draw on for the construction of communities of practice in the application of information technology in teaching,in response to the national call for reform on the deep integration and innovation of information technology and education teaching.
