| The study adopted interview, observation, and questionnaire survey methods, following the path of theoretical interpretation-practical investigation-problem analysis-proposing strategies and suggestions.By investigating the implementation of the kindergarten curriculum in the integrated kindergarten in Nanning City and exploring the impact of learning experiences on the adaptability of new students in small classes, including autonomy, social skills, positive emotions, altruistic behavior, and adaptability to daily routines, the aim was to propose optimization strategies for creating an educational ecosystem that promotes children’s adaptability and harmonious development.A two-month full-time on-site observation of seven classes in three integrated kindergartens in Nanning City was conducted(one week per class),while small class teachers were asked to cooperate in observing the adaptability of small class children with or without prior learning experiences and to conduct assessments.Descriptive analysis and independent sample t-tests were performed on the scale data using the Jamovi 2.3.18 statistical software, and the following conclusions were drawn:1.In the current development of the integrated kindergarten curriculum, there are phenomena such as uneven teacher professional qualities,a focus on cultivating life habits, weak connections between course contents, and insufficient child-ledness in course implementation.2.In terms of the adaptability of small class children, through the analysis of observational scale data,it was found that the adaptability of children in the group with prior learning experiences was significantly better than that of those without, indicating that the change in the educational environment has improved the children’s adaptability level.3.By analyzing the differences between the two groups of children in the five dimensions of adaptability,it was found that although there were individual indicators that were not significantly different between the two groups, the overall adaptability development of the group without prior learning experiences was still inferior to that of the group with such experiences, indicating that the educational environment in the kindergarten significantly enhanced the children’s adaptability. This was mainly due are: The change in environment encourages children to change their behaviour to adapt;the self-care oriented curriculum aims to develop children’s autonomy;the professional guidance of the nursery teachers improves children’s social skills;the positive emotional development of children is promoted by a good educational environment;the pleasant atmosphere of the nursery class increases the occurrence of altruistic behaviour;and the repetitive activity schedule improves children’s adaptation to work and rest.To promote the harmonious and comprehensive development of children’s body and mind, and create a harmonious, stable, and professional childcare environment, the study proposed the following targeted recommendations: the government should play a leading role in issuing educational guidance.outlines to help promote the high-speed development of integrated kindergarten education;universities should accelerate the training of early childhood education talents;kindergartens should plan ahead to optimize pre-school education degree resources, and at the same time, strengthen the level of home-school cooperation to enhance parents’ scientific parenting skills. |
