The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to speed up the construction of a powerful country in education,science and technology,and talents,and the concept and method of deep learning is conducive to the cultivation of high school students’ scientific spirit quality.Therefore,it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to study how to implement the in-depth teaching of high school ideological and political courses in order to improve students’ thinking level,firmly grasp the basic knowledge,exercise key abilities and cultivate core qualities,so as to train high-quality talents for the country.However,there are still difficulties in the application of deep learning.For example,the combination of deep learning and core literacy cultivation is not high,students’ critical thinking training in classroom learning is insufficient,students’ transfer and application of extracurricular knowledge is not deep,teachers lack of developmental evaluation,etc.The reasons behind it mainly include the level of teachers’ in-depth teaching design to be improved,the lack of depth of classroom activity organization design,the knowledge application training to students to be strengthened,the evaluation process and development is not outstanding.According to the causes of problems,optimization suggestions are put forward to improve teachers’ theoretical literacy and teaching ability of deep learning from a macro perspective.To improve teachers’ teaching design ability of deep learning from the middle perspective,such as three-dimensional unity of teaching objectives,emphasis on deep analysis of logic in teaching materials,flexible and diverse teaching methods,establishment of process and development evaluation system;From the micro level,we can promote students’ in-depth learning in the teaching process,such as creating teaching situations with strong sense of experience to stimulate students’ enthusiasm for active participation,encouraging students to independently construct knowledge structure,and improving students’ high-level thinking,so as to promote the high quality and efficient development of high school ideological and political courses.Considering the current situation of applying deep learning in high school ideological and political courses,teachers of high school ideological and political courses should continue to explore if they want to better promote the high-quality development of education and the cultivation of innovative talents.The deep learning of high school ideological and political courses will better meet the needs of students’ all-round development,and realize the fundamental task of cultivating core qualities and educating people by virtue.
