With the implementation of the "Class B and B management" for COVID-19 infection in China,the tourism industry has ushered in a recovery and rebound,and the trend of fashion,youth,experience and quality of tourism demand has become increasingly obvious.The development of tourism and its market demand puts forward new requirements for the cultivation of tourism students.With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,it has become a consensus to seek innovation in teaching activities.In order to promote the effective teaching of "Simulation Tour Guide" classroom in secondary vocational schools and break through the shackles of traditional teaching methods,this paper uses drama teaching method to carry out application practice in "Simulation Tour Guide" classroom in secondary vocational schools.Drama teaching method is the use of drama skills and elements in subject classroom teaching,the construction of student performance as the main body,teachers assisted guidance,to achieve the teaching effect and objectives of the teaching model.Drama teaching method has the characteristics of taking professional knowledge as the premise,role as the starting point,situation as the link,performance as the center and drama inspiration as the principle.Compared with traditional teaching,drama teaching focuses more on the cultivation of students’ comprehensive quality and the mobilization of students’ interest in learning.This study integrated literature method,case analysis method,observation method and interview method to carry out empirical research.Under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences,the theory of "learning by doing" and the learning theory of constructivism,starting from the study of the application of drama teaching method in the teaching of "Simulation Tour Guide" in secondary vocational schools,the teaching status of "Simulation Tour Guide" is obtained by questionnaire survey,experiment and other research methods.It is found that there are some students in the teaching of "Simulation Tour Guide" who are not enthusiastic about learning and eager to try new teaching methods.The teacher’s teaching task is heavy and the teaching mode is monotonous.In combination with the theoretical and practical characteristics of "Simulation Tour Guide" course and the existing problems in teaching,taking x Tourism School in Sichuan Province as an example,two parallel classes of Grade 2021,majoring in tourism service and management,are selected as experimental objects.The experimental class and the control class adopt the drama teaching method and the conventional teaching mode respectively.The experimental class adopts classroom observation,questionnaire survey,achievement assessment and other means to analyze the application effect of the drama teaching method.The results show that the application of drama teaching method in the course of "Simulation Tour Guide" in secondary vocational schools has achieved good expected results.Through classroom observation,the students’ classroom status under drama teaching style is more active than that under conventional classroom,and the interaction with teachers is better,and the classroom atmosphere is improved.The results of the questionnaire survey show that students have more positive learning attitude,good learning effect,comprehensive ability can be improved,and promote the understanding and application of knowledge.Moreover,the test results show that the test results of students in the experimental class are greatly improved compared with those in the control class.The teaching of "Simulation Tour Guide" under the drama teaching method has achieved good results.
