| In recent years,it is suggested that all kinds of vocational colleges should push forward the reform of curriculum and teaching.Since the introduction of STEAM education concept abroad,it has attracted wide attention.It is a comprehensive teaching method integrating science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics.It emphasizes interdisciplinary learning,links with practical life,and enables students to solve problems in real situations through hands-on practice and cooperative learning.In order to cultivate students’ problem solving ability,teamwork ability,organization and management ability.The teaching based on the STEAM education concept can provide useful reference for the classroom teaching of secondary vocational schools(hereinafter referred to as "secondary vocational"),and is one of the effective ways to solve the current classroom teaching dilemma of secondary vocational schools.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to integrate STEAM education concept into the course of Tour Guide Practice in secondary vocational schools,improve traditional classroom teaching methods,stimulate students’ learning motivation,improve students’ learning efficiency,and cultivate students’ comprehensive ability,which not only meets the requirements of education reform,but also meets the teaching objectives of Tour Guide Practice.This research is mainly carried out by means of literature research,investigation and classroom observation.First of all,the author combs and analyzes domestic and foreign literature on STEAM education concept and "Tour Guide Practice" course,providing theoretical support for further teaching practice based on STEAM education concept.Secondly,by collecting data through questionnaire survey and interview method,we understand the current situation of secondary vocational students learning "Practice of Tour Guide" course and teachers’ teaching situation,and then explain the conditions for the integration of STEAM education concept and "Practice of Tour Guide" course.On the premise of considering the learning situation of secondary vocational students and combining with the teaching principle of STEAM education concept,a curriculum teaching design framework based on the concept is constructed.In addition,teaching activities are designed according to the knowledge points in "Tour Guide Practice" course of secondary vocational tourism major,which is used as a case activity in teaching practice.Thirdly,after the end of the teaching practice,we conducted the section test and questionnaire survey on the students,and the results showed that the teaching based on the STEAM education concept has achieved good results.In addition,the study also found that the teaching based on STEAM education concept can effectively improve the problems in the classroom teaching of "Tour Guide Practice",such as weak practice,less interaction,lack of diversity of evaluation methods,and has a good effect on improving students’ interest in learning,initiative,knowledge and ability.Finally,in view of how to better carry out the "Tour Guide Practice" course based on the STEAM education concept,the author puts forward some suggestions on improving the STEAM education and teaching conditions,improving the comprehensive quality of teachers and the diversification of teaching evaluation methods.The teaching framework of this study is designed by analyzing the actual teaching situation of secondary vocational school and combining with the characteristics of secondary vocational students.The combination of STEAM education concept and secondary vocational classroom teaching has a good effect on improving students’ learning interest and comprehensive ability.This study provides some reference for STEAM education concept in secondary vocational course teaching.In the research process,the author found that currently,in the field of secondary vocational education,there are not many research results related to STEAM education,therefore,we should continue to promote and practice,for the reform and development of secondary vocational education to contribute their own strength. |
