With the deepening of education informatization and educational reform,the objects of education research are also expanding,more and more new curriculum types have received researcher’s attention.Among them,the Starting-chapter lesson has attracted more and more attention from researchers because of its function of connecting the preceding and the following in teaching and its characteristics of connecting real life and mathematical knowledge.However,the current research on Starting-chapter lesson often stops at the definition of the concept of Starting-chapter lesson and its’ teaching value.The research on the teaching characteristics and teaching strategies of chapter first lesson quality course is still relatively vacant.This paper focuses on the teaching behavior on the Starting-chapter lesson of the seventh grade geometry,selects 22 class videos of "Lines Segments,Rays Lines" on the national education resources public service platform,one teacher and one excellent course,.draws on existing research,constructs the teaching behavior observation scale of the first lesson of the seventh grade geometry chapter,uses Python language to write the coding and analysis program of the teaching video,uses the cloud model to process and analyze the obtained data,explores the teaching behavior characteristics of the Startingchapter lesson of the seventh grade geometry.summarizes the suggestions for classroom teaching improvement in the first lesson of the seventh grade geometry chapter.It is found that in the high-quality course of the Starting-chapter lesson of the seventh grade geometry,the classroom teaching behavior show s the characteristics of "teacher-led and student participation",teacher controls the classroom teaching,the degree of student participation is high,and the ratio of teacher-student teaching behavior is 6:4.In addition.it also showed the characteristics of high comprehensive control of teaching,indicating that the distribution of classroom teaching behaviors among various dimensions is relatively balanced.From the perspective of teaching behavior entropy,the average teaching behavior entropy of the 22 excellent course cases was 23.8%of the maximum behavior entropy,and the teaching behavior entropy was low,indicating that the average amount of information of each teaching behavior in the excellent course classroom was low,and the complexity of classroom information was at a low level.
