Parent-child communication refers to the multidimensional interactive process of exchanging ideas,sharing views and emotional interaction between parents and children.The quality of parent-child communication directly affects the parent-child relationship and will have a profound impact on children’s growth and development.In the context of urbanization,the pace of life has accelerated,and heavy work has compressed the space for parent-child communication.There are some problems in parent-child communication in modern society.The author takes parent-child communication of families in village-changed communities as the research object.Parent-child communication of families in village-changed communities is characterized by unique characteristics and also has its own problems:1,parent-child communication time is less,2,parent-child communication content is monotonous,3,communication skills lack,unable to deal with the problems in the process of communication,4,the two sides of the communication misunderstanding,communication information transmission is blocked.All these problems need to be solved urgently.In view of the basic characteristics and resources of the village community,as well as the status of parent-child communication in the community,the author designed a series of group activities,hoping to improve parent-child communication in the village community through group intervention.During my internship,through understanding the situation in the community,I found that parents and children in the community have great needs to improve the current situation of parent-child communication,Therefore,in order to further understand the situation of parent-child communication in the community,we began to carry out a questionnaire survey and summarize the problems found.The author uses group work method,social learning theory and communication theory as support,Designed a series of group activities from understanding the importance of parent-child communication to mastering parent-child communication skills.The group aims to improve the frequency of parent-child communication and teach parent-child communication skills.Through the implementation of the group,it is found that the group work has a certain effect on the improvement of parent-child communication.Through interviews and observation,the author finds that the team members have changed for the better and the group objectives have been well completed.The group’s development methods,activities and services of social workers were appreciated by the service objects.Finally,the author made suggestions on how to improve the long-term involvement and communication ability of social workers.
