Research On The Games Teaching Method To Cultivate The Primary Self-Care Ability Of 3-4-year-old Children

At present,most parents in China paid more attention to the development of children’s intelligence and neglect the cultivation of children’s self-care ability.3-4years old was the key period for children to develop their initial self-care ability.Good self-care ability could enhance children’s self-confidence,sense of responsibility and ability to solve problems.There were 16 teachers and 120 children,120 parents in the K1,which of the kindergarten affiliated to Suzhou Foreign Language School in this study.By interviewing parents,teachers,and questionnaire filling,children’s self-care in life and the games teaching method at 3-4 years old were investigated.The results showed that the games teaching method could effectively help 3-4years old children to develop their initial self-care ability.In terms of eating,the average rate of reaching the standard for boys and girls were 74.7% at the beginning,which increased by 11.9% to 86.6% three months later;In terms of washing,the average rate of children reaching the standard for boys and girls increased from84.4% at the beginning to 89%,an increase of 4.6%;In terms of living,it increased from 65.3% at the beginning to 81.5%,an increase of 16.2%;In terms of sorting out,the average rate of men and women reaching the standard was 73.3% at the beginning,and rose to 85.8% three months later,an increase of 12.2%.Therefore,the following suggestions were made: First of all,through various interesting games,we could arouse active interest in games,meet the desire for games,and try to experience activities related to self-care ability.Secondly,by creating a good game atmosphere,put in rich and realisticed game materials,attracted game attention,and participated in various exercises to improve self-care ability.Thirdly,through careful observation and guidance,found out the game problems that needed to be solved,gave game intervention,and mastered the skills of self-care in life.Finally,by giving timely support and affirmation,encouraged appropriate and beneficial game development,improved the effect of the game,and promoted the cultivation of children’s initial self-care ability.
