Textbook is one of the important research objects of subject teaching,is the basic content and basic materials of teacher teaching,student learning,assessment and teaching and research,from the textbook to find,develop and use curriculum resources can enhance the professionalism and scientificity of the classroom,improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the classroom,promote the realization of teaching objectives and the cultivation of core literacy.The unified version of the high school ideological and political textbook will achieve "full coverage" in all provinces in 2022,which is composed of the main text,inquiry activities,relevant links,expert comments and illustrations,etc.The illustrations have the characteristics of rich in quantity,extensiveness,orientation and life,and play an important role in achieving teaching goals and improving students’ core literacy.Therefore,it is of theoretical and practical significance to study the illustrations in the unified edition of high school ideological and political textbooks.This article first analyzes the reasons for conducting the research on this topic.Based on the reading of a certain amount of literature and the interpretation of the textbook,the author analyzes the composition,characteristics and functions of the illustrations in the unified edition of the high school ideological and political textbooks,and clarifies that the illustrations in the high school ideological and political education textbooks can stimulate students’ interest in learning,promote students’ understanding of knowledge,cultivate students’ core literacy and cultivate students’ aesthetic sentiments,which constitutes the necessity of researching this topic.Through my own teaching practice and interviews,I understand that some teachers and students lack the awareness and skills to actively and effectively use illustration in the actual political teaching,which constitutes the importance of this topic.Based on the above reasons,the author focuses on the strategy of using the illustrations of high school ideological and political textbooks.The innovation of this paper is that specific and feasible suggestions and methods are put forward in response to the problems found in teaching practice and interviews.In view of the lack of awareness of effective use of illustration by some teachers,the author proposes to change the teaching thinking of teachers,based on core literacy,explore the relationship between illustration and text,and give full play to the role of illustration;in view of the lack of effective illustration teaching skills of some teachers,the author proposes to use different teaching methods according to different teaching links,illustration types and illustration difficulties;for some students lack of awareness and methods of actively exploring illustration,the author proposes to guide students to actively explore illustration,Teach students basic drawing reading skills and implement student illustration guidance practice.These specific methods can really help front-line teachers improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of textbook illustrations,promote students’ understanding of knowledge and improve their political core literacy,and cultivate socialist successors who meet the requirements of the state.
